I had a plastic buckle on a leg sheath break, so i made a paracord replacement strap using one of these buckles and not only has it consistently held up to much more stress, but it somehow stays shiny like i just made it. I'm absolutely blown away by the quality of these buckles and i plan to buy more in bulk on account of; they're so handy

This 1" buckle is in service on a 50 lb dog who managed to break the plastic buckle. No concerns about him breaking this one.As others have mentioned there is a bit of slop/play in the buckle that will make it "rattle/jingle" when tension is applied and released.. If that annoys you or the pet, it's simple to add some scotch or packing tape on the male side of the buckle to remove the play and silence the buckle. I did that and it's quiet now

Good size and metal seems good quality. 5 for 14 is not the best deal though

I purchased these buckles to replace plastic ones on dog harness. Just what was needed to make the harness sturdier.

these buckles are very sturdy. By no fault of the seller I could not used them, I did not read the or even give the picture a good look so the problem is all on me. I wanted to use them for special belt buckles and didn't realize there wasn't a slip grip to to tighten the webbing. So if you need an adjustable clasp this will not do, but the buckle its self is very well made. I'll find some project for them

I'm using four of these for straps that hold a cover onto a small boat. I have repeatedly tried plastic buckles, but after only a few days of sun, as soon as you tighten the strap, the cheap plastic breaks!. But, not these! (And, changing a buckle requires setting up a sewing machine and then cleaning it when done, for the boat cover is always a bit grungy, so definitely spring for these metal ones and save yourself a LOT of repeated work!)

Great quality! I use these for dog collars and was worried that they would feel cheap and not be sturdy enough, but they turned out to be great and will definitely be purchasing more.

I needed these to make 1" elastic adjustable belts, and they are great. I didn't pay attention to the description enough, thought I was getting one buckle, and got 5! These are nice, solid, sturdy buckles too. Well worth the money!
