Great and Fun Too
Been very happy with the way it works well I got it as my first DJ controller with little room to grow with I got it to learn to DJ for Online spaces and been really enjoying it to quality of this unit is great only seen Pioneer ones, so I never seen a Roland and never heard of the other brands in this price point and have heard of Roland Juno comes to mind anyway haven't had any problems with it Love the fact it comes with Serato Pro and 90 days free Bpm supreme to get you started music wise

Fantastic Serato Controller
4 years later and still one of the best pieces of DJ equipment I have ever purchased. Works great as a stand-alone Serato controller, or analog turntable mixer with a built in 808. Will stay in my gear list forever. Love it.

The Roland DJ 505 is intuitive, responsive with dedicated sections for ease of use.
Ignore ALL negative reviews! This a Roland product made in USA, the company that makes musical instruments! Enough is enough! It comes with full Serato DJ software and all expansion packs!!! That's alone is over a $250 value for free. Buy it if your serious about DJing and mixing music, this is the real deal. Strong buy!! Good luck!

Husband loved it
Purchased this for my husband who has been DJ for years but new to this type of controller. He loved it. Was an easy installation and software download.

DO not Purchase. Factor defect and your tracks freeze during play
Played a gig last night and during the middle of my set, the tracks started to freeze. It did this randomly throughout the night. I looked online and it's a known issue. Other than that its cool, but if you want to play out in front of a crowd, i won't use this.

Console ottima, qualitativamente e funzionalmente superiore ad altre console alla pari più gettonate. Anche la sua marca ROLAND, sinonimo di garanzia e qualità.

Los productos Aira son la típica cosa que coges con ganas, pero que cuando tienes delante... Para empezar, NO es compacta y llevable como por ejemplo la WeGo, es UN BICHO, la 808 debe ser gigantesca. Pero al ser “generosa” salvo los faders de pitch todo lo demás es grande y espacioso. En la foto sale junto a un Push2, que ya es grande... Acabados: todo plástico, incluido frontal (Aira style). Los jogs muy buenos, aluminio y pesados. Con Serato: perfecto, integración total, otra cosa es que te guste más o no. Con Virtual DJ también perfecto (pero cobran la integración a 99€). Soporta DVS (es una 808 más barata en serio). La caja de ritmos: mola porque es como la TR8, pero honestamente la veo un poco “de pegote”, no sé si con algunos géneros irá mejor que con otros pero no se... Va perfecta eso si. Sonido: muy bueno, tarjeta de sonido de MUCHA calidad. Salida de MIDI. MI OPINIÓN: acabados mejorables por el precio, si eres de scratch, hiphop, etc seguro que te gusta. Si eres más “discotequero” igual prefieres ahorrar para una Pioneer un poquito más cara. Y llevarla la puedes llevar a los sitios, pero va a ser en una maleta XXL como la propia 808 o la Mixon.
