Q: Are these made by air-pot? on their site green is 3.3 gallons, not 5 gallons. also, they don't make "superoots air pots," so - who makes these?

Hello, YES these are the same, they are 5 gallon equivalent / 3.3 gallon actual volume. Most 5 gallon pots are actually 3.5 gallon industry standard for nursery pots. BAY HYDRO TEAM

Q: Can anyone tell me if these work better than fabric grow bags?

I used fabric grow bags for several seasons until I discovered air pots. I very much prefer the air-pots because they can be disassembled, easily cleaned with a garden hose and stored flat. The grow bags on the other hand get moldy and are difficult to clean and are quite messy. I was told they bags can be washed clean in a clothes washing machine - maybe that's true but I would not put such an item in my clothes washer. I also use a drip irrigation system to keep the plants hydrated.
