Tastes okay. Easy to take.
Easy to take, although not easy to measure at first. Best just take two full pipettes in a glass of water. Taste not too unpleasant. Bit early to tell the effects, would be interested to see how it tackles any colds I get. Not cheap, but should last a while.

Soothing Tincture with Some Flaws
These drops are an efficient way to take liquorice. Tinctures get a supplement into your system rapidly & avoids the problems of swallowing pills. It’s a good concentration & vegan if that’s important to you & a nice mild taste of (surprise!) liquorice. The drops are effective but I’ve marked this one down because of the box, bottle & dropper.Firstly, the writing on the box & bottle are so miniscule you need a degree in eyesight from the university of Helsinki to read it. If you’re the size of an ant who wears ½” thick lenses you might just be able to make it out. I used a magnifying glass.Secondly, liquorice is brown. I’m sure that’s standard knowledge. So what could be better than to put it in a dark bottle so you can’t tell how much liquid is in there when you’re getting close to the end? If it needs protecting from light putting it in a blue coloured bottle would help, or just keep it in the cupboard or inside the box to preserve it.Thirdly, the dropper is a nightmare. The contents are gloopy with bits so it needs a lot of shaking. This makes it frothy when trying to fill the dropper which is annoying. Worse are the dropper markings are brown so they’re illegible once filled with the liquid. Again, out came the magnifying glass.I will use the drops but in the end felt like it would have been quicker & easier to brew a liquorice tea bag. At least I can find the kettle & a teabag without a magnifier.Full marks for what’s in the bottle, low marks for the bottle, dropper & packaging.

Good for helping the digestive system
The media could not be loaded. Liquorice has many benefits but the ones I am interested in is - it helps with the digestion and it is good for the liver health. On the label is also that it helps to soothe throat and chest. I would probably push it onto one smoker I know and see whether that could help with chesty caught.I definitely prefer supplements in liquid form although I am not always super keen on sweet vegetable glycerine which serves as a carrier. But since it is to be taken in water I guess that’s fine.It comes in the dark glass bottle with a pipette. Pipette shows measurements and I never manage to fill it up to 1ml so I dose somewhat 3 times.Recommended is to take 2ml in water daily and maximum is 6ml a day.Taste is very unnoticeable, just a hint of caramel like undertone.Sometimes I just drop a few drops of liquid after my meal straight into my mouth for that “desert” feeling.
