This is hands down the best dry shampoo i've ever used. PLUS, it doesn't leave a white cast on my dark black hair! Just a small sprinkle will absorb all the excess oil in my hair and give it volume to make it look like its just been washed and the shaker bottle makes it really easy to apply.I ended up just poking out one of the holes on the shaker top instead of peeling the sticker off, to help control how much comes out when you shake.

Changed to this dry shampoo after finding out how bad the aerosol ones are! (Look at the ingredients of your Batiste! Propane!?!? Butane?!?!?) It will take you a few times to figure out your application style but it's worth the change! I did not completely remove the sticker covering the shaker holes. I punched through 3 of them. I shake some powder into the lid and then use a poofy make-up brush to apply. I also sprinkle some into my hands, lightly rub together and then distribute in my hair. It's not a quick but so worth it. It does have just a clean smell but after applying I really dont smell it. It holds up running errands in the Texas humidity too! For my health, I am so glad I found this dry shampoo!

I’ve tried this twice now and both times I have been less than thrilled. First - I have super dark hair. Though it does eventually blend in, at first it turns the roots sort of gray or white. It’s not the best or worst at absorbing oil that I’ve tried, but it does make my scalp super itchy and when I scratch there is a ton of buildup that leave a dandruff look to my roots. To make matters worse, the packaging is super frustrating. I was hopeful for recyclable/degradable packaging, but opening and closing the tube is nothing short of a nightmare. In 2 uses, the top is so bent, that IF I planned to use it again, I would likely have to transfer it to another container. Overall not worth the price.

I was very surprised by this product! Sometimes with aerosol dry shampoo, my hair tends to look greasy again by mid day. I was definitely skeptical of th e powder at first but once I realized how easy it was to apply and brushed it through my hair, it looked fabulous! I also didn’t get oily roots again by mid day - which is a huge win. I’d buy this again!

It works well, it gets rid of the greasy look, but it does lighten hair, for dark hair it should be darker tinted, but it does the job with very little product.
