The material was more like a hiking pant not legging material.

My 16-year-old daughter has been running since mid-August, doing a Couch-to-5K program, and she has been terribly resistant to anything for running besides shorts, or <gasp> jeans. I hate her running in jeans.In the summer, shorts totally make sense, but since she wants to continue running into the fall and winter, we obviously needed a solution besides those jeans. She thought these looked "okay, I guess" (I mentioned she's 16, right?) and so we got them in an XL so they'd be baggy, as she absolutely doesn't want tight clothing. She is very glad we did not get the Large, as she feels these are tighter than she expected. I think they look great on her.She usually runs in the evening, so on a couple of the cooler ones lately she has worn these. She had an attitude about them, expecting to hate them, but to her surprise, she thinks they work great for running. She won't, of course, admit that I'm right, but she did tell me that she is glad that she has something that will make it possible to keep running as fall really sets in.That is a ringing endorsement from this particular 16-year-old anyway.

These are super high waisted. It actually rolls over occasionally because it comes up so high. You may want to consider going up a nice if you want a looser fit. The mediums are form fitting to my backside and hits at least 6in above my ankles. This is normal since I’m so tall. The fabric is lightweight and stretchy so good for activities or just lounging

I love these pants and got so many compliments on them. They fit as expected (I like xl so they are a bit baggier) I dressed them up with a nicer shirt and I was good to go on a date! Very comfy.

We wear pants like these all the time because we would rather be comfortable. They have a nice look to them. They are flattering.They feel durable. I am pleased with the quality.
