It's good quality rope
It's very good quality but too thick for what I needed it for. Not the fault of the rope. Its hard to find what your looking for without seeing it in person first. I'd definitely buy this again.

Just right thickness for knitted dish scrubby
Not only do I love using this in my yard and garden and every thing else, I use it to knit with size 6-8 needles into a small garter stitch rectangles to be used as dish scrubbers. They last several months and when they wear out, I throw them into the compost. They never get sour like sponges do if I'm careful to ring them out and set them to dry out between uses. Seems the jute has a natural antibacterial and antifungal property that boosts it ability to stay fresh.

Worked well to redo my scratching post. I let it sit out in the sun for nearly a week and it still had an oily smell unfortunately, but not terrible.
