These lights are really very good. Build quality is excellent. Light generation, distribution and colour is excellent and they sit flush against the ceiling perfectly.

I wasn’t sure about these as you can’t change the bulbs.But if they last as long as they are rated it won’t be a problem assuming I can still get them. Obviously if you can’t you end up with an odd replacement.The brightness is very good and the light is very even. There are 3 selections between warm and cold. The warm light is very nice but I opted for the middle setting as this will be a work room and I want a daylight quality.Very easy to install.The springs have a silicon sleeve which is a bit pointless.Electrical connection is robust and easy to access.I am really pleased with them

4 spotlight is not working

I bought a pack of these to add illumination to a cellar, dead easy to install, a slide switch on the side sets one of three colour temperatures, then there is an integral terminal block for the live and neutral wires which has a cover that grips the cables. spring clips hold it into place.the light is bright, the unit doesn't seem to run hot, the only downsides:- the lack of an earth connector block (the light doesn't need an earth due to its design) required adding an external connector for earth continuity (other lights on the circuit do use an earth and its twin & earth wiring used). not a huge issue but had there been a third terminal it would have been tider.- the live and earth terminals are not that easy to see recessed into the housing, its quite easy to poke the wire in and miss, easy to detect with a simple pull test but this could be better designed.apart from that though they are not hard to install and work nicely, lighting instantly (unlike the tube lighting they replaced), energy efficient and provide excellent downlighting over the work area they were bought for.I have also installed similar in the loft space where again the recessed design is excellent in spaces with limited head room
