Great germination
Got a lot of plants out of theses seeds. They did not give me early tomatoes. I’m still waiting but maybe it was the super wet spring. The plants are robust and health and tomatoes are starting.

Arrived on time from Seed King Express
I received my Early Girl seeds yesterday. I’m germinating in a damp paper towel. After germination I’ll be putting the sprout in my AeroGarden seed starter before growing it hydroponically.I’ll update in a couple of weeks with the progress.3 days later, 3 of 5 seeds sprouted. I transferred them into AeroGarden seed starter.6 days later, they are 1" tall. No true leaves yet.

Very low germination rate!!!
Something is wrong with these seeds. Out of approximately 40 seeds planted, only two seeds germinated. Good soil, plenty of water and sun, lousy seeds. In comparison, the germination rate for seeds of a different variety of tomato plant that I had around the house for around 10 YEARS was very high (perhaps 15 out of 20 seeds came up).

My go-to tomato variety
I have tried many strains over the years and at this point I'm down to Early Girl and San Marzano. I like this strain because it does well for me and the fruits are medium-small. I initially was interested because I was starting seeds outside very late and wanted something that matures quickly, but I've gone back to indoor seed starting and I still prefer them for their other qualities. If forced to grow only one strain this would be it.

I Did Not Receive Early Girl Seeds
I should have known better, and I probably did. But I only noticed in late March that I needed tomato seeds for this season. (Yes, I should have gotten started sooner, but things happen.)The big seed houses charge so much for shipping that I decided to risk ordering a pack of seeds through Amazon, since I only needed a single packet. What a bargain.I did receive tomato seeds, in a small ziplock baggie. They were slowish to germinate but I did get healthy enough plants. And I am getting tomatoes now.But they are cherry or grape tomatoes. Definitely not Early Girls, which I've been growing for years and really like for their size and flavor. I avoid cherry tomatoes because they're hard to keep up with, and just don't suit me.Bottom line, if you just want any old tomato seeds, these are okay. If you want what you are led to believe you are ordering, maybe go elsewhere.

So far, every seed planted has sprouted!
I'm just a few weeks in but each seed planted has sprouted and looks happy! So far I'm extremely happy with these.
