A bit expensive, but worth it. I really like the size and design of this tool organizer. At first, I thought it was a little small to accommodate the stuff on my messy drafting table. After some trial and error of pens/tools placement I was surprised how many items I can fit. It's simple, well-made, and effective. Assembly is easy, just leave the fasteners hand-tight at first, then use the supplied hex wrench to snug things up. Be careful not to over-tighten, the bolts are of soft metal and can be deformed with too much force. Luckily, this stand came with not only the wrench, but a spare bolt and stand off. Another reason to like this thing. I like the overall fit and finish of the stand and the all metal construction's heft makes it able to handle substantial weight. The rubberized pads on the stand base are very effective to save furniture and stay put. There's nothing worse than "chasing" your tools around the table top! Assembly is easy and the coating looks to be durable. The best thing besides the looks is that now I can quickly identify the tool I need immediately. This seems like a small thing, but over hours at the bench the little things really add up and may impact work quality. It's an easy choice, there's nothing here to dislike!

The rack arrived as advertised and was straightforward to assemble This device is a great idea but needs some design changes. 1. The top and bottom plates are identical but when the lower plate is assembled to the base the leftmost slots and the rightmost holes are blocked by the base thereby reducing the height of the toois that can be installed. 2. The base is too shallow and allows tool inserted in the upper half of the apertures to slide through onto the bench or work surface, Any attempt to move the rack causes the items in the upper set of apertures to slide further through the holder and drag on the bench. A deeper base with a retaining lip on the rear edge would be an distinct improvement. 3. A small lip around the front of the base to create a tray for screws and components would be a distinct improvement. Some of these changes will increase the manufacturing costs but not significantly IMO and would improve the utility of the device considerably. After extending the small holes on the right through the base and adding to the front and rear of the base the function is greatly improved. Now long tools in the upper row do not fall out the back and the tool rack can be picked up without disturbing the contents. Changing my rating to 4 stars.

Compact for small tools (e.g. for a hobby work space), this well-finished, sturdy steel rack assembles so easily an idiot could readily do the job. In fact, I did it! The kit even includes the needed hex wrench and extra small parts.

I really wanted to like this. The rack is well built, solid. But the configuration of it is just not convenient for allocating the kinds of tools i need to keep on it. Its probably a "me" thing and might not apply to you. Lower level slots dont seem to fit longer tools (screwdrivers, pincers) because they end up limited by desk surface. No complaints about the quality of the rack. It is sturdy, easy to assemble, has good heft. As long as it fits the kids of things you intend to place in it, it'd be perfect.

This was bought as gift for my husband, who is very difficult to buy for. Much to my happiness he kept it and has started using it. That is high praise from him without saying anything. He is a 73 years age of man, that refurbished 5 different vehicals and refurbished our 80 year old home. So he has all kinds of tools to be used for many different jobs. This screwdriver rack is a very handy way to keep him organized with his tools.

I was surprised that the anodized finish was so nice, on top of an obviously high-grade aluminum alloy. (It is a smooth, bright, slightly blue metallic tone which is not quite picked up in the product photos.) All holes and edges are smooth and fully anodized. I've placed all my leather-working tools in the holder (leather punches and chisels and so-forth), and it is working very nicely! I would have opted for more round holes and fewer square ones, but that's a very minor quibble...

I'm really disappointed with this product. Screws are very soft and not good quality...when you tighten them up, they strip very very easily. Not worth 75.00 bucks I can tell you that.
