Q: Am setting up a concessions trailer with a small three compartment sink. Can this be installed outdoors and connected to a fitting like a garden hose

yes this can be used outdoors ,however it must not be allowed to freeze or it will crack. In regard to the discharge we provide a threaded outlet. You can buy adapters at plumbing supply to adapt the threaded end to whatever connection you would like to go to. However a garden hose would not allow enough space for the product and the grease to flow out. I would stay with the size that it comes with a run a larger hose of some pvc pipe that is the same size.

It is manufactured with specially chosen compounded plastic materials to prevent rust and corrosion. The unique resin used allows for use in applications requiring high temperature continuous service.

Q: What percentage of fats, oils does it catch optimally??

good day; i have purchased many grease traps. Let me share my experiences. DO NOT BUY STEEL ! They rust bad, regardless of what manufacturer say.I learnt from my mistakes and buy only thermo plastic like canplas and Ashland. Frankly, they both are about the same. Now, coming to your question. They both do a good job removing grease, my guess is over 90pct.However, it depends. For less demanding or slower flow, I use the smaller Ashland. For higher flow, I use Canplas because its bigger. I reckon a big Ashland would do the same job as well.I think the flow is recommended in the specifications. If you are not sure, buy the canplas.Cheers.
