I got a bad one.
Broke, while torquing a wall stud into concrete floor, after a few times. Probably got one that passed by the inspection. Oh well, I'll try another brand.

Half way to a SDS Plus Rod Driver
I used this, along with a deep socket, to make a rod driver, as actual rod drivers for SDS plus are hard to come by and expensive. It's not really clear to me what someone would want to use a rotary hammer for the presumably intended use for this adapter, to turn nuts or bolts. Because it exists, I assume someone knows something I don't.I can kind of see why rod driver bits are not usually offered for SDS plus. Rotary hammers with SDS Plus chucks are usually not powerful enough to be used a lot for driving rebar and grounding rods. But for light occasional use, and in concert with a sledge hammer for getting through tough spots (like rocks underground), it can still be handy. I was glad to have even the underpowered rod driver when I had to sink some rebar near some wood work. I didn't want to be swinging a sledge near that. It was slow going, but I was able to drive the rebar where I needed it to go with a lot less effort and risk of hitting surrounding work. Effectiveness depends on the ground you're trying to get through and the rotary hammer you have driving it, so your mileage may vary.

Used for hammer-drilling a ground rod
I used this with a Harbor Freight hammer-drill and an impact socket to drive an 8' copper ground rod into the dry clay-ey Texas soil. Took about 30 minutes - they ground was dry and hard - but better than using a sledgehammer!

Works great for driving ground spikes and rebar
I used this with a 5/8" impact socket to drive rebar into the ground. It worked beautifully on the hammer setting on my harbor freight SDS rotary hammer drill.

Hammer drill add on is a good addition
I picked up an SDS hammer drill some time ago. This is a great add on to go with a socket set. Use heavy sockets as a strong hammering coule break cheap sockets. s a great add on for the price.

Works
Hey, it's a socket bit adaptor.....it works like it should...what more can you ask of it. I think it is good value and does add a lot of capability to the SDS drill

Great adapter for your hammer drill
I bought this adapter for my Bosch professional hammer drill. It extended the usage of my hammer drill for driving square sockets and it allows me to use my Jacob drill chuck for regular drill bits.
