Love it! Beautiful finish

I really like this product. I have tried several kinds of medium in my painting and artwork. This brand seems to work best for me. It is very durable high-quality and goes on smooth. It is just the right consistency to use for my collage mixed media art. It is a little pricey, but very high-quality. It is a versatile product in that you can use it for several different forms of art. It dries quick and clear. It is now my brand of choice for using in my art.

I have been using this product for many years and it never fails! It always adds a nice matte finish to my art work. Basically, medium is a paint without pigment and adds all of those great binding properties into my acrylics. In fact, what I do often is to add this medium to lesser quality art paints and I still end up with professional looking art work every time. In addition, I always finish my paintings with a high quality, UV resistant spray varnish (which also makes the colors 'pop' and come to life with brilliance). Between this combination of supplies, I have never once had any issues with my paintings fading, cracking, yellowing or anything like that. I have found Liquitex matte medium long ago and have used it faithfully for many years. I need nothing else. This stuff is perfect for my needs and techniques. Recommended this! Five stars all day!

This Medium is great for a lot of things. Anyone who paints with acrylics probably already has some...or at least they should.

I love how Liquitex Matte Acrylic Medium works. It dries very flat, and it doesn't yellow nor does it become brittle over time. Liquitex and Golden are my go-to for acrylic products, and I love the way their products work. If you buy this stuff by the gallon, as I do, just be sure to have some smaller bottles to divide this gallon of matte medium into. It'll last a lot longer in storage in smaller quantities. If you are using it quickly enough, you can leave it in the gallon tub, but otherwise, I divide it into 8 and 16 oz. bottles, and it lasts for a long time with no thickening or evaporation because you aren't exposing it all to air every time you use it

As gesso it’s awesome, but it works as paint kind of, too, so win, win
