If you cough during the night, that is a problem.
I found the tape to be EXTREMELY sticky. Therefore, a small, mid-sleep, coughing event ended up being a frightening experience. The cough had nowhere to go, until I woke up in panic and ripped the tape off. Seems like there is some inconsistency in the manufacturing process if some are saying it is a strong tape and others say it doesn't stick enough to stay on.

Great in concept…but not in reality
I’ve been using a different brand that comes in an ‘X’ and thought I’d try these since they civer more of the mouth. Due to the hike in the middle, it still allows me to keep my mouth open more then it should be, hence a very dry mouth and still snoring. Not to mention that due to the moisture it holds, I’ve had a horrible breakout everywhere it lays

Great product!
I am really pleased with these mouthstrips! I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea about 11 months ago and I have tried various CPAP masks as well as a chin strap, while getting used to managing this disorder. I've decided that I prefer a nasal pillows mask but I am a mouth breather. I did not care for wearing another contraption around my head so I tried mouth tape to replace the chin strap. I decided that was the better choice although apparently some feel it is unsafe, in case you need to vomit during the night. Well.. that does sound like an unpleasant situation but I am still a very light sleeper and if my stomach bothers me I wake up, so I don't worry about it. I have been using 3M Transpore Surgical Tape and it works pretty well. What I don't care so much for is that it leaves a sticky gooey area on and around the mouth wear the tape was. I always put lotion and grease up my lips prior to putting on the tape so that it wouldn't be so hard to pull off in the morning. I also fold a little tab on the side for easier removal. Well these mouth strips aren't as sticky but they work great! I still put on lotion or a little almond oil because I like to moisturize my face but I rub it in real well and the tape stays on perfectly! I still fold one edge a little like I did with the tape. I like that they are already pre-cut to the perfect size. They do leave a slight bit of stickiness but not near as bad as the tape. I remove it with a little shampoo, which I have found to be the best remover for tape goo. The only thing I have a problem with these, is that the tape is really hard to see on the strips of paper they are attached to (as you can see in the 3rd picture) but I am quite happy with these! Great purchase!
