Might end up 5 star, 4 for now... Now 5
Great quality, great packaging. They look very small as they're one size and at first are pretty uncomfortable and tight.***Changed to 5 stars, just bought another colour actually. I'll keep my original 4 stars review as is below, but after using them for four games of 7s, they're great. Hard to explain, but that lack of movement in your boots really gives you more confidence in your stride and in dribbling?!?!To break them in and stretch them before my first game of 7s, I wore them with my running shoes. I instantly felt I'd wasted my money as both feet felt like they were in a sauna. Within five minutes of walking I could feel the sweat build up at my toes. The rubber material acted like a little grill.Once I got to football I struggled a bit getting them into my Superfly 7 boots, as they have the knitted sock feature. Once I laced up my boots and started walking, the boots felt a bit tight and my stride felt heavier. Anyway, I didn't bring other socks so wore them anyway. Warming up, I was very conscious of the rubber. Strange feeling and still felt the heat build up.Once I started playing tho I noticed it less. During the game I started to feel less foot slippage inside my boots. It could be a mind trick, but they do make for a more secure stride. They do stretch fairly quickly too, I noticed this taking them off.I wouldn't use them running, as they felt odd in my running shoes and if anything, less secure? I was more aware of the feel and heat build up. For this reason I'll give them 4 stars. After a couple more uses I'll re-evaluate tho.Kudos to the presentation.

Sad to say that I am excited!
They are very comfortable, challenging my favourite grip socks for comfort and performance. I have had a selection of different brands, and I have always felt LUX's touch with their products over the years really have improved. And what gives them that extra touch is their personal messages upon receiving.I love the new look and feel too, and a fair price for what other companies are trying to over charge. The most important thing with these socks is the fitting, as I don't have massive feet so I need the socks to not over stretch while in use, or feel loose. After a wash and dry they fit my foots shape properly.Highly recommend these grip socks over their older models, and all competitors.Only Apexsox would compete.Growing companies with big company feel, but with proper customer care 👌🏼

Better for shoe size 4-10
Good quality socks all round. Deducting a star because they barely fit on my size 11 feet - hoping they don't shrink in the wash.

Fantastic grip and comfort at an affordable price
Great pair of grip socks, brilliant at keeping my feet firmly grounded in my boots when making quick movements during training or matches. They are very comfortable and my feet don’t feel sweaty when wearing them and they wash well so far. I also received a series of tutorials from Lux which is a lovely added touch! Their customer service goes above and beyond what I expected when purchasing these grip socks. Would highly recommend.

Presentation & gratitude, hard to come by !
So far what is there not to like about this product, if there has been this much work go into the packaging and time taken to what it looks to be like a hand written note of appreciation then so far I’m sold, to add there is a QR code on the back of the note which opens their website to register as a life time guarantee customer, deals and other sports wear available to help make your game better. The socks themselves seem very durable, elasticated, breathable and not to thin. I play football twice a week on 7s, I haven’t yet tested this brand yet however I’m looking forward to see how they will preform as it’s taken cheaper non branded grip socks to degrade after around 3 month. I have given this a 5* review only on the points above 👍 will update in a month or so after games have been played

Amazing difference!
UPDATE, AUGUST 23:I've pretty much given up with these. I'd been wearing them twice a week for 90 minutes a time so they've had quite a bit action and they do the job but the smaller dots inside leave my feet feeling really sore and sweaty to the point where the skin on my toes is peeling off. As soon as I put them on I know what's coming so I've reverted back to ordinary socks.Original review:I decided to give grip socks a go after I noticed my heel become more and more painful after playing due to movement in my boots. I have no desire to pay the price some companies are selling them for and these seemed reasonably priced, a UK company, and no blatant branding all over them.Delivery was very quick with Prime and they arrive the day before my next game. They come in a flat square presentation box with the socks laid out in a L shape, which is a bit odd really, and although it's a nice touch I would have been just as happy if they'd come folded together in a smaller box. Actually thinking about it, I'd prefer that. The box it comes in is just a bit unnecessary. The pretend hand written note inviting me to scan a QR code for more stuff is a good effort, but unfortunately to get access to it you have to be on Facebook, and I'm very much an advocate of "real life" so that's not available to me.Now, about the socks.... the idea of one-size-fits-all socks has never worked for me, a size 5 foot is never going to fit into sock intended for a size 9 and vice-versa but to my surprise they fitted my size 7/8 foot perfectly—no need for stretching, and no excess fabric. The feeling of the grippy part inside the sock was a bit weird at first and I imagined getting sore feet at some point. I even took a spare pare of normal socks to change into expecting just that, but once I'd got my boots on they were fine. I had to undo the laces a bit more than normal in order to get my boots on because of the grip but it wasn't too bad.Performance-wise I have to say I felt like I'd played my best game in ages. The grip socks made a noticeable difference to how my feet moved and they felt solid for the whole game. They were comfortable and dealt with moisture much better than normal socks. they also didn't slip down inside my boots. I did notice that once I'd taken them off and walked around barefoot for a while that my feet did perhaps feel a little bit sore in places particularly around the heel and toe areas but I was so pleased with them I'm going to order a couple more pairs. One other thing I did notice was that after playing on a 4G pitch I had the usual little black rubber crumbs stuck to my sock in places, it happens with regular socks too, but when I picked them off the thread pulled a little bit on the socks so I'm not sure how long they'll last. I'll update my review in a month or two after I've worn them a while but so far so good!
