Premium Chalked Finish Paint

Great paint to work with true to color, used Deep Navy. Order ahead of time since delivery is slow but worth the wait. Cost was great compared to Annie Sloan Paint

I actually bought this paint to refinish my leather couch. It worked really well! I called the manufacturer to be sure that this product would work, and they informed me it would. They even gave me advice adn told me to try watering it down a little to apply lighter coats. It came out so beautifully! I'd highly suggest buying this for redoing any of your furniture, even has a nice finish when done. 😊

I am an avid chalk paint user, and have tried many brands for my restorations and renovations. I am a perfectionist at heart...I got a fireplace 9 months ago that I was dying to redo and have let it sit unfinished this entire time because I could not find the right approach to refinishing this project. After finally making a decision, I started my hunt for taupe chalk paint. My go to brand has always been rustoleum. However I could NOT find the taupe color anywhere for sale, despite it being listed on the website. I came across this during my hunt and decided to just go for it. It is THE BEST chalk paint I have ever used. Not only does it go on smooth and cover well, but the color is gorgeous!! It’s so hard to tell when ordering online but it was everything I hoped and more. It’s the perfect taupe-a true greige...there is seriously nothing ugly about this color. If my walls weren’t such a similar color, I would leave my fireplace unglazed just because I love this paint so much. I only did one coat and so much of the paint was left that I immediately started painting other projects that I had hanging in the balance because this paint and color can do no wrong. Seriously DO NOT hesitate to buy this paint. I will never use another brand again!

Goes on easily and looks great. I did find that it is better to rough the surface up before you apply because it scratches very easily if the surface is smooth. On the up side, a little goes a long waaaaay! I refinished cabinets in a bathroom and laundry room and still had paint left. I think I will try using it on another project without sanding but using a dead flat varnish instead of waxing and see if it holds up better.**Update: After a month, both projects are holding up well and not scratching as easily as they were. Another project that I sanded down completely did much better. I'll be ordering a different color soon!

This is by far the best chalk paint I have used, and I have tried several kinds. The results are always impressive. SO happy Amazon sells this paint, as it is expensive to ship directly, and my local retailer doesn't have all of the colors available. I did find that the color chart was not exactly reflective of the color, but if you can find the color you like, then you will absolutely love this paint. I have done 2 nightstands (Dark oak), a large dresser, both bathroom vanities and heading to the kitchen next. It's the only paint that easily covers the ugly 90's style builder's oak grain, and in just a couple of coats.

I had a real problem with this paint. When I tried to add a second coat, the first coat peeled off. It was a mess. I had to paint over this with another brand. The color was good but it was useless to me on the top of a side table if the paint peels off. I am very disappointed and see this as a total waste of money.
