I walk 8 hours a day. I have been wearing Berghaus Superlight, costing £120 but as I'm going through a pair every six months I decided to try some other boots. I chose these due to the reviews.I am delighted with these boots, especially for the price. The boots are very waterproof, do not slide in claggy, sloppy mud - which was a surprise as the Berghaus boots didn't hold in mud! - plus they are comfortable from day one, with not a sign of a blister or a rub mark.Are they as well fitting as the Berghaus boots? No, however with a pair of insoles these boots are ideal. I have slim feet but the width wasn't a problem but the boot is a touch big from top of boot to sole, in other words they are slightly more roomy above my foot (hope this makes sense).I couldn't work out how to clean these boots as I'm so used to shoe polish but I bought some Leather Genie, which is a remarkable product.Will I purchase another pair? Definitely.

Wow was really surprised how comfortable these boots were lovely colour and perfect comfort

Closures are not so good. But they do the job not good for hill walks as they have no ankle support

I bought a pair of these boots about 6 years ago. I took a risk as they are cheaper than well known brands. They are excellent. Really comfortable. Never leaked. Hence I bought another pair now. Same brilliant quality boots. Wore them first time today. Really comfortable, grip well. No breaking in needed

Fit great, feel great, packaged beautifully.Unfortunately, though, the sole feels like hard plastic and skids over tree roots and larger stones.Of course, I only found this out after a long hike so didn't feel able to return them.

I have worn my boots daily for nearly a year in all weathers and all types of terrain and they are still very comfortable and waterproof.

I love the look of these boots and I've had this make before in a slightly different model and been thrilled.These are lovely but I an finding it really hard to get them tight around my ankles which makes them slightly awkward to walk in but I'm hoping as they give a bit I will be able to pull them tighterI walked through a boggy wet field today and had completely dry feet so very waterproof.
