I purchased this for one specific piece (the stepped nozzle), for one particular task. I needed to replace the camera glass on the rear of my phone, but did not want to have to open the whole phone up. My standard heat gun is much too big and hot for a delicate job like this. However, this little heat gun was perfect. The first heat setting was hot, but not overly so that it would heat up the phone too much, it heats up quickly, and the nozzle was absolutely ideal to control the area of heat and concentrate it exactly where I needed it and nowhere else. I have only used it so far this once for about 2 mins, but it was perfect for the job, and saved me a fortune having to pay an 'expert'. To be honest, I wasn't expecting miracles at this price, but I am pleasantly surprised at how handy and good it is, a great addition to the toolbox, I work in the auto trade also, so looking forward to using it a lot more.

Handles really well when needing to change heat direction. Two levels of heat with nozzle off or on gives four variables of heat. The prop is just a nice touch. Overall very pleased.Used at the moment for self solder electrical joining.

First time using this.The soldering I needed was in an awkward position. Wiring in behind car radio however this worked the treat. Would be better for a work top tool.Thanks

I bought this to insulate wiring with heat shrink sleeving and it worked perfectly.

Bought this to help me replace the batteries in my Sony WF-1000XM4 earphones.I needed the heat to soften and the glue holding the two halves together, but also avoid getting hot air on the driver which would damage it - this worked perfectly. With the nozzle attachment and holding it about 1ft away, I could whisk the hot air over the seam of the earphone, and not worry about damaging the driver and also the plastic surface.Very pleased with this product, at a great price too.

Great heat gun. Gets hot enough for heat shrink on the lowest setting. The small add on nozzle is a real bonus when working on looms. Nothing else melts! quiet in use. The stand works well. Would recommend.

This was a perfect example of "Gee, wouldn't it be great if someone makes a ...." In this case it was a smaller than a hurricane hot air blower that I could use for focusing on heat-shrink tubing type tasks, et cetera without worrying about melting the surrounding elements. So, I searched and Bingo-Bango the PRULDE popped up. Deciding to buy this after a reasonable review of features and, yes, useful comments from guys like me was a no brainer. The 2-speed/heat selector switch allows some temperature modulation. The construction has a robust feel, offers a portable stand and I particularly like the straight thru versus pistol grip approach. This has become my absolute "go to" for more than I had expected it would be. Example: when I cut nylon cord or rope I always melt the ends to prevent unravelling and this is the safest and most effective tool for that. The list goes on, but you get the idea.
