A great cast, endearing characters, lovely story and a view of the downtrodden but undefeated world of post WWII England skilfully contrasted witha glimpse of the inner workings of high fashion in Paris, this film would be a perfect Mother's Day gift to settle down and watch together after you've treated her to a special meal.
