Sturdy but was to large for my puppy

Out of all the no pull halters I've viewed, I settled on this one because of the cool handkerchief design that would suit a male or female for my two year old nine pound Schnoodle, which we rescued one another at a shelter. Having trusted the efficiency of the products manufacturing, we used it on a daily basis from March 3rd to today, April 15th. for a total of FORTY FOUR DAYS. To my shock and dismay and later disappointment while the harness was securely fitted to him with the leash in my hand, another dog ran off from the group. As my dog tried to bolt with his friends, the clasp that connects after the Velcro and is what the leash is attached to gave way, I was grateful the industrial type Velcro was used in production, as that was the only reinforcement that held him back from a very scary situation. And of course, the return window closed on April 2nd. A mere THIRTEEN DAYS passed that window. I am sharing this review because i want future and even past customers to be aware of the possibility the halter could fail and to avoid placing their pet in harms way.

The good:-harness looks beautiful and appears to be made of quality material.-super responsive seller. Sent me a new harness at no cost when the size XS didn’t fit my dog.The bad:There are two rings on the harness and I don’t really know what they are designed for. I can’t comfortably connect my leash to both at the same time, so it doesn’t offer anything in terms of safety. The one ring that I do connect the leash to is the one closest to the center, but moves around a lot, so it isn’t centered when I walk the dog.The fit: I don’t know if it is just my dog’s body type-I have a mini dachshund - but the harness, even when secured tightly, doesn’t seem to stay in place in the front part of him. This might also have to do with the fact that the ring the leash attaches to isn’t secure and moves side to side. So when the dog pulls, he isn’t pulling the harness from the center, but the side.Anyway- I don’t know who designed this harness, but the design flaws are enough that I am unable to comfortably use it even though I love the way it looks and the material. I am concerned for my dog’s safety when I use it.

Good value and fit my 3lb Yorkie at the smallest size available

The harness fit my dog well. The only issue I had was that the latches are plastic. My pup got ahold of the harness and chewed the latches off . It worked great before coco decided to destroy it.
