This is the second time I have purchased this sugar. The quantity is over 3 pounds, it lasted for four years. I like to purchase in a larger amount for cost effectiveness. I use this sugar in baking, in hot tea, in hot coffee. The sugar did not become stale even after four years. Keep it tightly sealed in a cool place. I would say this sugar is better for baking cookies, for this reason I highly recommend it.
