Turkish Delight with Assorted Fruit Flavors 8.8 oz

These candies are really sweet but yummy. My husband loved them so much that it has become an annual tradition for me to get them for him for Christmas.

My title sums it up. These candies are like no Turkish Delight I've ever had before. Good Turkish Delight is supposed to be soft, smooth, flavorful, and covered in a cloud of powdered sugar. These candies are none of those things. They are hard and gummy that sticks to your teeth. Thickened with starch, not natural pectin. Different colors, but they all taste the same - bland and practically flavorless. And they are covered in corn starch, not powdered sugar. I honestly don't know how anyone could make worse Turkish Delight. Seems pretty impossible to me. Save your money.

These candles are pretty good , but some pieces were a bit too hard. The flavors are strawberry, orange, banana, and kiwi and they are pretty good. At this price, you can’t go wrong and it’s definitely worth the money. My only real complaint is that too much corn starch is used, it gets all over the place and even though you can get some off of it, I believe it alters the flavor somewhat. My favorite flavor is banana

Taste really good! Light essence of fruit. I had never had it before. Texture isn't gummy or jelly, it's an inbetween consistency. It didn't stick to my teeth. Powder coat you really can't taste. Packaging. It came in a Amazon bag, the box was a lil dented. But the candy itself was wrapped really well. The box itself was cellophane sealed, then the box inside, with the candy was cellophane sealed, and then when you remove that, there is like a like foldage of wrap, like you just uncover it. I seen a video on how to eat, without getting all that powder on you. You insert a toothpick, and remove from tray. Just to let you know the size, I put by a standard size chocolate chip

The thing is that it taste good but it's so powdery and it kinda taste like baby powder when it's so much powder, I love the taste though don't get me wrong but it's also messy and I have to suck all the powder or shake some off it's not like in the picture then I thought, it's a bit sticky. To your teeth but so far I think it needs less powder and less stick. If you can do that.

I received six boxes of Turkish Delight for $8.08. It seemed a great value at the time of ordering, but reality set in upon arrival. 1. Product had expired August 8th 2024 (manufactured August 2022) when I received them September 15. 2024. 2. Even though the box reads "Turkish Delight" (they are manufactured in Turkey) I hope no one believes this is the standard for Turkish Delight. They were chewy in the worst way. Tough chewy. Stuck in teeth chewy. They were buried in corn starch and tasted too much like corn starch. If this was your first experience with Turkish Delight, keep searching. Much higher quality (i.e., the real thing) can be found and is worth seeking out. I don't believe in throwing food away. I have been placing a few cubes in beverages and allowing them to serve almost like bubble tea tapioca pearl boba. When I get to the bottom of the bottle, I eat the Turkish Delight (which are a bit more edible thanks to having been soaked in liquid).

Twice Ordered! Will keep buying... such a yummy gummy snack. I'm a picky eater. They have 4 flavors. They are not like regular gummies. Slightly different. Not a strong fruit flavor. There's a white powdery coating over them that has no flavor. So that's something to be considered when buying. Me personally I like that!

Love this candy at Christmas. Very fresh and the quality is superior
