Love the colors and price, be aware it ships from outside the USA country...UK I think...so it did take almost two weeks to arrive! Company would NOT provide any details about where it ships from or when it will arrive beware of that, I did ask them. It is exactly what I thought, 18 spools of the thicker cotton Madeira thread in its own box! I love this thread for machine quilting it’s about the thickest possible for doing on a machine. (Lower the no the thicker it is BTW so if you’re looking for hand thread go down more!) I was hoping for more golds, the goldenrod is fairly yellow and the orange is a light yellow-orange almost a gold. I’ve not yet tried it on my machines, I’m really hoping it will be awesome for ruler work, walking foot quilting and on my Babylock Sushiko! This and the Madeira polyneon (polyneon is a polyester, not cotton) are great strong threads for quilting, FMQ and walking foot quilting, also top stitching. Use something less expensive for the piecing or sewing! Beautiful colors and strength. I believe the quality is worth the price, nice to have some of it for less. I’ve also found this thread on sewing parts online.com when they run some of their promotions it’s a fair price and a lot better selection, but more than this is $$$ wise. (about $5/spool, free shipping if you order enough.) spool sizes are comparable to this set. It’s the small spool which is standard as far as I’ve seen for this cotton product!

I love Madeira thread. I have an older spool with Madeira 2.5 thread and I was hoping to find something similar. The thread I received is first class, but not as thick as I had hoped. I have no idea how to find a bit thicker thread for hand quilting.Marianne
