This USB Blu-ray is nothing short of great for me so far. I have ripped both Blu-ray and standard DVDs with absolutely zero problems. Over 35 ripped so far and counting. Moving all my collection over to a NAS and this was a perfect choice. You won't be sorry if you choose this one! The only thing I would change is the USB cable is attached and is only about 8 inches long which limits where you can place it depending on your computer setup. That is the only limitation I have found. I have not tried to use an extension USB cable.

To whom it may concern: I have the same problem with this item that it requests customers to have a Registration Number to get the full working product. I only have an email address for this company and no phone number to speak to a live person to solve this problem. So please stop telling CUSTOMERS to contact this company to solve the issues because via e-mail it doesn't. Perhaps you have better ways for us to solve these issues. By the way the Registration Number should have been included with this new product. I want to keep this item but without any good assistance in solving the Registration Number issue, this item will be returned for a refund. Fredger Alexander unhappy customer.

As others described，this drive is very small and lightweight. When I received it, I used it on my TV immedietaly and it run well. Amazed at the speed of this drive, it's much faster than the other products I bought before.Hope it also works well with my laptop. I will give feedback after use. Recommand...

Don't be misled by the product picture. The unit is very small, compact and light weight.I just got it and plugged it into my laptop and it worked right away.Will provide further feedback after using it to backup my Blu-Ray movie disk collection. Have lost a few disks because the kids were careless and scratched them. So best to back them up.

This is really bad... Because is only for region 2.. and I can't play any DVD or Blu-ray because I'm living in USA.. this DVD player can't play any DVD or Blu-ray... And description the seller not said anything about that....

Cyberlink's Power2Go 11 reports it will only write at 4x with a Optcal Quantum 6x BD-R DL disc. My returned (only because it wasn't black) slot load Pioneer BDR-XS06 would write the same discs perfectly at 6-8X. Both units have the same price. Although a little slow this unit does work well. Burned 43gb of video files to a single BD-R DL no problem. Still I feel I should have kept the silver slot load pioneer. Now I think I'll exchange this for the similar priced/spec'd aluminum cased pawtec.

The product is the best one I have ever had, I wish I found this earlier. it works fine on my laptop, after connecting to my Samsung TV, it can play DVDs directly as well. That's convenient and amazing!

Alleged compatibility with TV... NOT!!! Dont waste your time. Im extremely tech savvy. I bought multiple and none worked.

Very fast delivery, arrived before I expected it to. It is small and quiet, but the connecting lead is very short. Also, you DO need additional software to play commercial movies on this player. It's no big deal if you have access to the internet, but I did pay around $40 to get software I was sure would work. The player itself is great, very happy with it.
