I recently purchased the Frirodsay Fish Tank Filter Aquarium Sponge Filter, and I am very pleased with its performance. One of the best features of this filter is its quiet operation. It floated no matter what I tried and I was unable to clean it when it got dirty. Would not open.

I have had my little filter for over a year, and it is still going strong! The plastic 90° connector for the airline tubing does have a few bubbles leak out the fitting, but this does not effect its performance. The only gripe I have is that the replacemwnt filters are out of stock with no easimated availability time.

I bought 2 of these to do a split tank for my betta fish. One works really well. The other makes alot of noise and constantly releases giant air bubbles instead of the smaller ones. I've checked all of the connections with the air pump, took apart the entire unit to try and find anything, and even replaced the air pump to see if the pump was the problem. Couldn't find anything. Oh, and there are no instructions. The entire box is written in Japanese.

It doesn't come with the cord adapter to work, you gotta buy separate... Really bad!!

This little guy is powerful! We bought this air filter for put 5.5 gallon Betta tank and it works beautifully! It is very powerful and our girl loves to play in it :) it takes time and patience to open but it will! I would advise to hold it down with some soft stones or crystals as it is very light weight.
