Love this tool very well built!!

Although I have had some issues, it seems like it works most of the time. It's hard to use if you have to go back and forth on sizes of cable. I thought I was doing something wrong or it was defective in some way. I have mostly used klein, and they have been nothing but trouble. What I don't like on this is the red plastic button. It seems useless, but necessary if you know what I mean. They should come up with something better to adjust it with.

My kids bought an older home and needed help with some rehab. The house had some Romex and some Bx wire, I was struggling with the Bx until I bought this cutter. It works great and is very easy to use.

Needed to install some metal clad cable for an electrical project. Saw many videos online of electricians using wire cutters and tin snips to cut the flex cable, but this works way faster and you don't run the risk of cutting into the wires. Definitely worth the money.Cutter doesn't come with instructions though, which I think is a glaring omission. It's not overly hard to figure out how to use it if you're mechanically inclined, but still.Do keep in mind that you'll still need tin snips to remove the sharp corner of the cut cable and some "red devil" wire protectors to prevent wire chafing.

The tool itself is fine, it's just that the blade wilts in the face of old BX cable. I managed to get 2 cuts before the blade was dull. The manufacturers should really supply extra blades. It appears from other reviews that some newer types of armored cable cut well using this tool and there are youtube videos showing this. Overall for me this tool was better than using a hacksaw, but more expensive as I only had one junction box to wire to do.

This tool works great for cutting BX wire. The tool uses a manually operated tiny circular saw blade to make a cut through the metal sheathing allowing you to to pull back the metal and expose the wires inside. There are lots of ways to adjust the tool for different sizes of armoured wire and to ensure that you don't cut too deep through the sheathing.

I’ve only made a few test cuts and it works well. Unfortunately there were no instructions and I had to “YouTube” how to use it. Sure beats trying to use pliers and a hacksaw

I’m a tower electrician and use this a lot. Quality on this sucks and mine broke on the 3rd day of use.I’m going back to using my hacksaw. Save your money.
