I couldn't be happier with my purchase
I did quite a bit of research before buying this lantern. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I spend approximately 30 nights a year camping with family/friends and this is a wonderful addition to my camping gear arsenal. The best qualities of this lantern are:- Extremely long lasting battery. It has lasted many several nights of camping with no fading or need for recharge.- USB/Micro USB cable with charger included. HUGE Plus!- 6000 mAh battery is great for recharging a phone in the tent while still keeping enough charge to use the lantern for a few days.- The Rubber on top and bottom is anti-slip and works great on different types of table surfaces- The clear plastic light diffuser easily disconnects from the base (with a folding hook on the bottom side) to allow it to hang upside down under a canopy and/or tent, and the light quality below the lantern is wonderful from 8 feet up!- It's durable and clearly made with quality materials. It's been dropped, been target practice with rocks (5 yr old boys...), it's been thoroughly covered in yogurt (2 yr old girls...) and been rained on and there have been no issues in function.- There are multiple brightness settings. The low setting works great with little ones who want a dim light left on in the tent.- There are setting for red light flash, white light flash, and SOS flashing that continues indefinitely (as battery life allows)- It's not too bulky or difficult to handle.Overall I have nothing to complain about. The price was extremely competitive. This is a great value!

Perfect
Good light brightness, easy to use and charge up (takes approximately 5 hours). Lightweight/portable. Instructions are super easy (just push the "On" button), and clear (may need to charge a few times to get benifit of longer charge-time). I have charged once after using light for 7 hours, so am still experimenting. This lamp is a little powerhouse/well-worth the $54.00 price. I purchased additional lamps for beside the front door, and car.

An all-around great addition to my camping gear
I'm very happy with this lantern. Most important, it's very bright considering how many hours you get out of a single charge! You can adjust between three settings of (white) brightness. That's always helpful for when you want to read while your fellow camper is fast asleep, for example. There are also settings for blinking emergency flash in the white and red light settings. I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can plug your phone in the lantern and use the battery as a power bank.Other nice features are the size being small and compact for a lantern, the feel of the lantern is grippy with a rubber coat all around, the button for the light switch has good feedback, the handle folds right around the body and doesn't create extra bulk, and there's a hook installed at the base that you can use to hang the lantern on a rope or a loop in your tent. The lantern came with a carabiner, the charge cable and the USB plug, as promised. The lantern, overall, feels and operates as a solid, well-made and well-designed product. A great value.

Very Bright, Battery Can Be Conserved for Longer Operation
It appears sturdy and the output is bright. I like the ability to vary light output in order to increase length of battery operation. Hangs on a hook from above if needed. Partial charge: red light on unit, fully charged will indicate a green light. All I have to do is remember to keep the unit charged. Not yet sure on how often i need to do that. And I don't know how much of the battery will be depleted if attempting to charge a smart phone. This unit sure beats the D cell florescent lantern I had in the past. It lost a half-star as it was a little pricey.

A powerful light you can count on!
The amount of light this lantern puts out is unbelievable, it is a must have in any household. Been using them for several years for home and camping, and had to pull one out of cabinet yesterday when we lost power. When the power goes out, no matter how long it has been since I last charged it, this is always a bright light we can depend on. It makes it safe and a night with no power much easier. They are always ready to go for emergencies or anytime you need strong lighting when outside. I can't believe how long they stay charged! These things have so much lighting power in a small easy to carry around size. No candles, no dead batteries in a flashlight, this is all you need - the different light settings are great as the highest can be amazingly bright. I have bought each of my immediate and extended family one or two (for each floor of a double story home) of these to have at their homes or keep in their car, etc. Besides being practical, it's a thoughtful and useful gift! One of my favorite products ever.

Best camping lantern I've had so far.
The lantern puts out a good deal of light and it is made with durable materials. I ran the lantern non-stop on the low setting for 6 days and still had battery power. I ran it for over 77 hours on the high setting before I noticed that it had switched down to medium power and a short time later down to the lowest setting. Evidently when the power starts to get low the lantern will start stepping down the output settings according to the available voltage. In other words, if you're on the highest setting it will eventually go to the medium setting and then the lowest setting before it finally turns off. And if you start on the medium setting it will go to the lowest setting before it finally turns off. And if you start on the lowest setting it will just turn off after the battery is depleted. One item of note, is that the lantern will not operate while you're charging it.All in all, I recommend this lantern. I purchased two of them and like them very much. Best camping lanterns I've had so far.
