I grew up in a family owned business that sells fine jewelry so I’ll be honest, costume jewelry isn’t my favorite. Being that this was for my 9 year old, real gold wasn’t an ideal choice. I am very happy to say even after a year of her owning and wearing this there is no tarnishing. The lobster clasp is still in perfect condition and no jump rings have come apart. I’m very pleased with the quality for this price.
