worth it!
The first week with these was rough and my cat spent a lot of time chewing these off and shaking his legs as if I had destroyed all of his hopes of happiness. Now, these have been on three weeks without a single one being replaced. My couches have stopped getting new scratches on them and life with my cat includes much less damage. He still chews at them now and again but they are mostly ignored. I am so happy that this solution worked. The first time I put them on I had an epic battle with holding the cat and gluing them. I have become much better and this is now pretty easy to maintain. Also, I only replace a couple at a time. The glue says let dry for five minutes. It does dry almost instantly so don't worry about that.

Good adhesive
I've been buying the brand name Soft Paws (or Soft Claws; same company) adhesive, but many times, the adhesive is old and the tube dries out before I'm done using it. As far as that goes, Brostown Pet is superior. It is less viscous, so easier to squeeze out, and it seems to have just about the same holding power. The only problem I have is the applicator tips. Brostown Pet doesn't include enough applicators for my taste, and the ones from Soft Claws don't fit. I would like to be able to buy just the applicators, like I do for Soft Claws. Then, everything would be perfect.

Love this product
Love this product! Made me like my cat again. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes the first time you apply and have a second pair of hands near by in case your cat doesn't like nails clipped. I used a rough pumice stone to rough up my cats nail a little after cutting and over 2 months later still have 3 original nails left on. I have just quickly replaced 2 once and 4 another time as they come off. My cat still goes outside and this hasn't changed his behavior. Application gets faster with practice and cat exposure but time totally worth it the first time your cat tries to sharpen his or her claws on your leather sofa... I am almost sad that my cat rarely tries to sharpen his claws on my couch anymore. First two nails that came off after only 2 weeks were ones I didn't rough up much.

My cat is not a fan.
My cat usually does not have a problem with nail caps and they just fall off naturally after 2-3 weeks. For some reason, he chewed off all the caps adhered with this glue in less than a week. I don't know if perhaps the glue is not pet safe, but he was not having it this time. He was very agitated by this glue and made quick work of chewing them off.

Glue
They don't keep the cap on the nail that long. I guess that's why they give you so much for not that much money. The container is nice and sturdy. You can close it so the glue doesnt dry up which is very helpful.

Glue is very very weak and water thin.
Do not waste your money. Glue is doesn’t hold even for a few minutes. I have used other brand glue and this one is the worst. Thought I would give it a shot because I liked that you got a lot of application tips but it’s a no

Glue works way better than the tubes that come from the original package
Had to buy this item because the glue that would originally come with the Cat Nail cap was impossible to work with. This make my life way easier as it's easy to pour into the nail cap, and since there is a lot of applicators, i don't have to worry I will ran out.
