Amazing and learning fun for 5.5-6+ year olds
This is great for any child 5 1/2 and up. Have a 7 year old and 5 year old twins. 1 twin is more technical than the other, he loved the maze and the functions. The other twin loved it just as well but loved the emoli app mode better. Hopefully it lasts as we are going to buy another one so they wont fight for Elmoji anymore... :)Love this works with 2 apps. The Coji app and the Elmoji app you can bounce between the 2 seperate apps and the connection is very fast via bluetooth with the Samsung Tab A tablet. You dont have to sync it or anything just open the app on either twins tablet and it just sees it waiting for a connection at the beginning of each app. Love this factor the most that I dont have to pair the device and unpair.Kids love you can switch faces from Elmo to Coji by holding the ears for a couple seconds and the reactions when you do things in the games. The matching game is really cool too in Coji.Lastly the batteries do run out in about 6 days after heavy use but doesnt bother us as it has wheels and motion and bluetooth and reaction sounds and faces and etc... so its a light up toy with motors they all die with 3 AAA.s so no complaints here.

It's a fun toy and app
I don't know if this toy will contribute to my toddler growing up to be an engineering genius or not, but I think it's one thing that can make good use of the limited screen time that I do allow for. LO seems to enjoy it as well. I think the price was very reasonable.

its nice for a beginner
my kid (8yrs old) get really excited when receive this. she play it for exactly 1 week and never touch it again.there are two problem with it.1. the wheel on the robot is not accurate enough. after a serial of command, the robot could face anywhere.2. the application is just too basic. its good for 4 years old, my kid is just out grow it.overall, its a good toy for smaller kid.

Elmoji not working, just Coji
Update #2--------------Ordered a second time to try when the price dropped, second one has the same issue. The orange parts are barely orange, and it is only Coji, no elmoji and it refuses to shift (likely this mfg is getting this batch from a factory that is making them incorrectly and loading an incorrect firmware). If they had any method of updating it, this would have been a good product, hopefully a learning lesson for the mfg since it's looking like an entire batch was made incorrectly and there's no method for consumers to fix.Update----------Finally (weeks later) heard back from customer service, and there response was just to return it, nothing they can do about defective products. So yeah, only get this if you can live with the fact it probably won't work correctly, it cannot be reset or fixed in any capacity (I was just hoping for some factory reset instructions, they don't exist, apparently if it messes up, as electronics tend to do, there's no capability to fix or reset), the mfg stopped production of this model and they also will provide zero support on it. Definitely not showing the love here WowWee, I'll make sure to avoid your products heading forward.Original Review----------------------I love the concept, but like another reviewer, mine refuses to actually swtich to the Elmoji, it's just Coji in red packaging. Coji seems to work fine (although the mechanics aren't great, not sure if that's normal, for example a turn isn't 90 degrees, it's often a random amount, sometimes almost a full 180). But I bought this for my daughter who's an Elmo fanatic, so really sad that Elmo's not showing up. Not sure it's just a bad batch or what.I reached out to their customer service, never heard a response.

App doesn’t work
My son who’s 20mo likes the robot part, however literally the app does not work.

Awesome Gift
This was a gift for our second boy.He loves it....instant winner...he doesn't do anything without it.The accompanying app is on his IPAD....He is an absolute delight to watch. We think this is an effortless way to introduce children to robotics.

Fun little robot
This a fun little toy for 2-6 year old. They can control the little robot with an app on your tablet or phone. Not too many different moves they can make but it's enough for little kids

So it lost my 3 year olds attention pretty quick.
It's ok. It's got a fairly slow response time, and slow time to process the very few maximum number of emoji's used to "program" it. So it lost my 3 year olds attention pretty quick.
