After doing so research and trying to find something that would fit my 10yr old daugther I saw these and thought we would give them a try. I ended up ordering a Medium based on the sizing chart and they fit great over cuddle duds. She is doing competitive snowboarding and these have given her the confidence she needed to push herself and not be afraid to fall. She loves them and says it doesn't hurt when she falls while going off jumps, rails or boxes.

It was a really cheap option for my daughter who snowboards and ice skates, activities where falling down the wrong way once can ruin the kid's day (as well as the parent's!). No more complaints after getting this item and she feels less tense wearing it which actually makes her skate/ride better. Win-win!

I bought this to keep my butt from getting hurt from snowboarding. The waist is too small, can barely snap up. But it's advertised as child product so...... The description of the sizing is a little off
