I have a problem with the protective plastic on the silver part, it was removed with a very poor finish. The white and gold part without any problems.please refund or replace this damaged part, and please check the item before shipping.

Anyone who reads my reviews will know that I am a huge fan of NEEWER products. Invariably they make outstanding top quality and innovative photographic accessories for excellent value for money. In fact I feel that they are probably the best manufacturer of photography equipment, well up to the major camera and lighting kit manufacturers but for less money, and often better designed than the marquee brands too!There's nothing wrong with these reflector cards but I was kinda expecting a little more for the retail price of around £20. In the package you get the two folding cards but nothing to put them in to protect them when not being used (the thin cellophane wrapping the cards are supplied in isn't going to last long). They are A3 in size (A2 when opened flat) which is not bad but I think that if they were a little larger their uses would be much more versatile.There are four 'colours' that are faced on the card, black, white, gold and silver. The silver & gold surfaces were not pristine when I opened the packaging and looked 'smeary' and even slightly scratched in parts, and whilst it may not affect results for photographic light reflection, if used as a backdrop I would want better surfaces. I can see the silver and gold surface finish being easily marked too. The other thing that surprised me is that the 'opened out' single colour sides are both white - that seems a bit of a waste and I would have thought that one of the opened-out sides should have been black, surely that would have been far more versatile?Apart from the 'colours' on the card faces I was expecting the material used to be much more substantial, it just feels like ordinary paper for the black and the white surfaces and, as mentioned, the silver & gold don't 'wow' and I reckon they will be particularly prone to damage.I am sure that I will use the cards for a few photographic purposes but I am not seeing the 'value' for this product. Three features that I would consider to be a vast improvement would be A): to have some sort of plasticised surface that would be longer lasting, less prone to damage and wipeable (I certainly wouldn't recommend wiping the current paper material used), and B): to have a 'whole opened side' black instead of both being white, and C): something to put the folded cards in to protect them when not being used.Very very unusually I am unfortunately only going to give these NEEWER cards a 3 Star rating (and I never thought I would ever do that for a NEEWER product) as there's room for improvement.
