Beginners Embroidery Stitch Practice Kit - Easy Starter Kit for Adults, Learn 37 Different Stitches, 3 Hoops, 3 Fabric Patterns

I purchased the product as a teaching aid for children in the 8-14 age range. The instructions are in pretty good English, compared to the other kits I purchased and the pictures are the best. There are no needles, scissors, or seam ripper but there are three hoops (which the other kits appear to have at first glance but don't). There is an odd metal ring in the bag with the needle threader for which there are no instructions and I'm not sure what to do with it. The fabric is white, and there appears to be enough thread to complete the projects.

My only complaint is that the fabric for the whale embroidering was terrible. Wish they'd sent better fabric, like the one I got with the seahorse and octopus. Other than that, quite nice. You cannot rely on instructions and you must go to YouTube if you want to have a fair chance at these stitches they want you to do. You'd have to be a fool to think that an image alone will help you do a feather stitch or a French knot, so those complaints are ridiculous. I loved this kit since my favorite animal is an octopus and. Get to work on that with colors I want.

These are really cute for practice. I'm making them for my niece. My only real complaint is the fabric. It frays and stands unravel. I notice that it's not as nice to sew on as some other embroidery kits. The instructions are a little hit and miss but YouTube works well.

The video isn’t a huge help but it’s super fun overall!

I wanted to find something to do to occupy my time. I thought this would be a nice little hobby to pick up. The needle and thread are not a match. The yarn is so thick and the needle so slim, that I had to split the yarn in half just to get it to go through the needle. Instructions are not clear for a novice like myself, I had to YouTube some of the sticking techniques because I never would have know how to do it from the provided instructions .

These kits are so fun. I love that they come with everything you need and there’s a variety of stitches to learn. The colors are vivid and modern. The instructions are much easier to follow than some of the kits I’ve purchased at crafts stores.

Beautiful but I’d like the instructions to be better for beginners.

This was my first project and it has been very easy to learn with. The project is pretty, even with my novice status.
