I like that the set comes apart. I throw each section in a bag and it’s perfect for when we go places. The pieces are all wooden except for the tongs and I anticipate that it will last for quite some time. I also love that the numbers include 0 as most sets begins with the number 1. As long as you make sure your little one doesn’t throw the base (it’s kinda heavy) then you’re good!

My 2.5 yr old loves this toy! I was worried it seemed too basic, nope! Huge hit!

Unfortunately, my kid used it as a weapon hitting another kid with the sharp triangle corner, straight in the head. The ones who made it should have though of it , - especially if it is advertised as "Montessori" . It's heavy and has sharp angles , which is dangerous and not very kind friendly. Would not recommend for small kids.

This a good Montessori learning resource. This pack includes 3 activity sets (Carrot Harvest, Fishing, and Bee color sorting), 2 tweezers, 2 fishing rods, 10 fish, 6 carrots, and 5 bees. The magnetic rod works well. Wooden boards are of good quality. They are thick, sturdy, and durable. It is good for developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, number recognition, counting, color recognition, color sorting, etc. This set is bright& colorful, color is not chipping from anywhere. I liked that this activity can be used individually as well as can group together and it forms hexagons an interesting way to display on the Montessori shelf. It is good spring /summer activity for kids.Please note: For children under 5 years old needs parents supervision while working with this activity as it includes small parts, which can be choking hazard.

My just turned 2 year old enjoys playing with each part of this set! I love that as she plays, I can use the set as a resource to help teach her counting and reinforce colors. It is well made and would make a great gift! The only con (not really a real con) is that the bases are thick/heavy and if your toddler is in a throwing phase when they’re frustrated, it definitely hurts if you happen to be in the line of fire 😅…Overall it’s a great value for the money, and I would recommend it!
