Useful adapter for cruise ships
This is a good adapter for use on cruise ships. I wish it would fit more snug into the cruise plug, but it did what it was built to do. Do not get this confused with a power converter which converts most international 220v down to 110v.

Truely a Universal Plug Adapter But It's Important to Know What Devices You Can Use With It
This is definitely a great little adapter that will cover your travels for almost anywhere you go in the world. Very handy and realistically a must have item when traveling. I won't list all the countries that are compatible with this item as the product description does that satisfactorily. However, it's IMPORTANT to note that you cannot use this device with all your electronics when traveling. If some of your devices are not dual voltage then you'll need to use a voltage converter or transformer to step down the voltage from the overseas standard of 220v to the American standard of 110v. I've done some substantial research into this subject and will try to summarize my findings in a nutshell as shown below:In reality most modern laptop computers, tablets, cell phones and camera battery chargers operate in a range between 100 and 240 volts, meaning they are dual voltage devices and you can can simply plug them in to this adapter when traveling and you don't have to use a voltage converter. This is especially the case over the last 10 years for these types of devices. To determine whether your electronic device supports dual voltage or not you need to read the tiny words written on the bottom of your device or charger...for which you might need a magnifying glass. With that said there are other small appliances that you DO NOT want to simply plug into this adapter because they are NOT dual voltage and will blow up or cause a fire if you do. Specifically, these types of products include hair dryers, curling irons, clothes irons, electric razors and electric toothbrushes...basically any type of appliance that generates heat. Many of these thermal appliances are only 110v and you must plug them into a voltage converter when traveling overseas. HOWEVER, you can get around this because you can purchase these types of appliances that are dual voltage and take them with you before traveling. So it's your choice...bring a voltage converter with you or buy new appliances of this sort to take with you for travel purposes only.Bottom line this adapter is very portable, easy to carry when traveling and most definitely serves a purpose. The various plugs for the different countries slide in and out of the adapter pretty well, though the process could be a little more polished. I do recommend this product but with the constraints mentioned above.

This little plug adapter does it all, and has multiple USB ports too!
This little international plug adapter does it all. You can go from pretty much any outlet type worldwide, to any plug you need. Take a look at the photos, its very versatile. And, great feature is that this one includes 3 USB ports and 1 USB-C port. Very helpful! The output wattage for USB (5 V, 3.5 amps) may not be enough to charge 4 devices using all the USB ports at the same time, but it has lots of versatility. The main power adapter is rated for 660W at 110 VAC or 1380W at 230VAC - plenty for laptop chargers or other power needs. Can accept 100-240 VAC input at either 50 or 60 Hz.Its compact, small size. And fairly easy to change based on your outlet type needs. Note - be sure to use the "Push" button when collapsing it back and returning the prong adapters. I didn't see this, and almost broke it by trying to force the pins back in. Once I found the "Push" button to put the pins back in, it was fine, and easy to change between different pin/outlet types.

Design flaw on the EU plug requires a workaround.
We're going to Europe later this year, and I wanted to make sure we had all of our bases covered. In theory, this is an excellent idea - the charger has the ability to convert to work in most countries, and if you're one who needs an XL passport, it could be excellent - if it works right. It's lightweight to the point of seeming a little flimsy and won't take up much space in your suitcase.Slide the dials on the side in order to push forward the specific plug that you need. It's set up so that you can only have on style of plug set up at a time. To retract the plugs, there's a button on the opposite side that you're to press - it will let you push the prongs back in for compact storage. The problems is that the button sometimes get stuck down, and when you try to plug the outlet into the wall it will retract back into the device. An easy workaround is to just hold the appropriate lever to keep the prongs exposed while inserting the adapter into an outlet, but it shouldn't be necessary. It's a flaw in the design somewhere that's especially notable on the EU plug. This adapter will allow you to plug in one standard outlet, plus four different USBs. Mine has three USB-A ports and one USB-C port. It works fine when I set it to USA mode and plug it into my wall. You only get 5V of output on the USB ports though, so you'd need more than one if you're trying to keep the whole family charged. If you're a solo traveler and only have a phone, tablet and laptop to worry about, it should be sufficient.

OK adapter, USB-A work OK, USB-C useless
Tha international adapter part is OK,not great, just OK. You need to hold the slider when inserting into a socket or the pins may retract. I like that the US socket in the adapter is separate from the UK socket. I don't get why the ground pin has the safety cover.USB-A charge my phone and tablet (surprize). But the USB-C returns anterior to replace the cable. I tried the same cable with other chargers and the same devices and the cable is fine. Both phone and tablet return the same error, see picture. If I let it stay a few seconds it will go into charging mode but it will show 35% longer charging time than with USB-A which should be the opposite. USB-A are rated 2.1A-2.4A while USB-C are rated 3.0A and above.
