My fifth grader is picky about books to read on his own but he’s getting through this one without parental nagging which is all I can ask

My daughter fell in love with Dan Gutman's Weird School series. Now that she is a bit older, I grabbed the Flashback Four: The Lincoln Project, but she was hesitant to read it because it was about history, which is apparently not as interesting. Finally, on a day when she had "nothing else to read," she gave it a try and was instantly hooked! She did nothing else all day but read until she hit the last page, and then she immediately demanded the next book. In the course of three days she read the entire series. Now she wants to know MORE! I love it. We checked out some non-fiction books about the same events, and she devoured them too. Thank you Dan Gutman for always making us laugh, and now thank you again for getting my daughter interested in history.

Great series of books. I enjoyed them to teach kids and reading them myself.
