Great work light w/ plenty of battery life!
I bought this for working in areas with minimal light. It is very bright and most important has multiple ways to mount for your work area. I use the magnetic quite a bit as well as the pipe recessed clamp on. This alone is worth it! The swivel feature allows for positioning for any needed angle. Overall I can be sure that I will be able to get it into a position where the light is where I need it! If I had the cash I would buy the larger version of this but this is good enough. Thanks Coast!

Super Bright!
I bought one of these lights to light up the back of my boat during that first hour of legal fishing time. I wanted the baiting stations and downrigger areas lit. This light works great at 1,700 lumens. Makes the back of my boat like daytime. I bought a second one and mount them one on each side of the roof supports. Also helps when backing the trailered boat down to the water (at the ramp) for unloading in the dark. I’m super happy with the lights. They do everything I wanted.

Well-built, easy to operate and really handy
I love this light's ability to clamp onto other objects or use magnets to maintain a steady stream of light. The battery is huge too, which leads to long life. I've used it exclusively in my garage doing work on my cars, and it has been just about perfect. I find the light to be bright enough for most cases, but if I had any complaint, it would be that the beam of light can be a bit narrow (which is very typical for LED flashlights, IMO). For example, after applying a ceramic coat onto my cars paint, I had trouble checking my work due to the beam being so bright and direct. The most effective way of checking on my ceramic coat was watching at the edge of the lit areas from the light. Just a small nit pick, but you get my point.

A very versatile and quality light
PROS: Very well built, solid construction. Very bright. Power bank functionality.CONS: No ability or mode to focus light. Battery not user replaceable. This light is pretty great. The quality of the light is very good and solid and feels like it will last a while (at least until the battery goes out). It can also act as a power bank should the need arise. With the different mounting options (clamp on to various things or magnetic attachment) + the many swivel directions of the item, you would be hard pressed not to be able to get light where you need it, no matter how difficult the location. The downsides are that the battery is not user replaceable, so it appears once the battery goes out (which all lithium ion batteries will at some point), you would have to junk this otherwise great light (unsure if when the battery fails if you could still use it with the USB-C bypass power mode). That is sad to say and hope that there is an option to replace the battery down the road. Something that would have been great on this awesome light would have been some type of lens that would let you direct the beam of light a bit more.

Large heavy duty clamp
Now this is truly a CLAMP light. It has a large heavy duty pincer grip. The claws don't spread very wide, but it holds strong. This works well to attach to the side of a desk or any flat object, or a pipe, or tree branch. Because this has a bulky clamp, I wouldn't recommend this as your only worklight. For that I would recommend a more compact one. But this is good when you need a strong attachment. The dual power option is nice so you can use this for an urgent project even if you don't have time to wait for a charge. The light is nice and bright. Coast makes a lot of very nice worklights. This is not my favorite one in their series (because of the bulkiness of the clamp) but you can't go wrong with their very nice worklight product line in general.

An excellent performing tool that has already paid by itself.
Coast has been in the market for years, but all i remember owning from Coast before this work light was a headband that took AAA batteries.I do Auto Mechanic work on call and while i own other floodlights to assist me in situations with poor lighting i would say this is the perfect balance in 99% of situations, it has everything i need:- Powerful enough even in low power. 16 hours of runtime in low is no joke, you may think that low power is dim, but it isn't. Low power allows me to work on a vehicle's engine bay without much effort, if i need to up the intensity for some focus work, the option is there, but if overall run longevity is your target, low is pretty workable for my purpose and many other purposes.- Lighter than my other portable floodlights. This is not by any means a small or "lightweight" floodlight. But compared to my Milwaukee, that also uses a M18 Milwaukee battery pack, this thing is small and lightweight, sure, the Milwaukee you can swap the battery and run it for a virtually unlimited amount of time and it's overall larger, not necessarily brighter, but larger, however i rarely need the whole work area lit, and i feel that one is more catered towards a construction related job.- Mounting options. Magnets, Clamp and Stand on a pivoting base (ball supported) give you almost endless options on how and where you want to direct your light.- Built-in battery. The built in battery makes this beat my Milwaukee in terms of water resistance. This is "Storm-rated" where my Milwaukee is "splash-rated" as it is not completely sealed. Also, i need nothing but ANY USB-C power source to charge it. 12V in car, Powerbank? It'll do the trick compared to proprietary chargers that may need 110v and more bulk to carry around.- Build quality/Craftsmanship. This unit feels solid, as in professional daily use solid. With reasonable care this unit seems like it'll stand some times before its replaced, and while it may be slightly more expensive than your average no-name portable floodlight, to me it is worth every penny. All in all, this has been a perfect tool to assist me and will be looking for what else Coast has to offer in the future, worth it, recommended, and if lost would buy again.Thank you for reading my review, and if anything changes i will definitely make sure i come back and update it.
