More of a bell sound.
The sound is more of a bell sound but I rather enjoy it regardless. It is pretty loud as well and the handprints are adorable. They sent me 2 chains, one short and one long, but the longer one didnt have the hooks and was just the string. I have long chains so I just replaced it with one of those and it worked out fine.
