Works Well
Did not use this for a camera. Had an old Radio Shack 12V with a thick plug for a small appliance and decided to try a newer version. This works well and has a flatter plug which allows for better storage.

Good price for a solid plug
I rely on these for a power supply for something very important at work, bought a spare just in case.Not paid or endorsed for reviews.

Good System Poor Power Supply
I like this system. It was easy to set up. Pictures are clear day or night. Play back is easy. So why only 3 stars. The power supply is not very water resistant. I have replaced 3 power supplies so far after heavy rain. To verify the problem, I dried off a problem power supply that stopped working and placed it on a paper towel overnight. The next morning the paper towel was wet from the water that leaked out of the power supply. I duct taped the new power supply around the seam on one power supply and put a plastic bag around another new power supply. This seems to be working. I still keep an extra power supply on hand. While this power supply is not very costly to replace, I would gladly pay 2-3 times the price to get a power supply that was waterproof.

8 channel camera surveillance added a 5th camera which doesnt work
Cannot get camera to work on existing dvr made for 8 cameras this was the fifth camera
