Great Battery Storage Case
The Home-X-Clear D Battery Storage Case is well made and sturdy. It holds 8 D-Batteries without any flexing or twisting of the case. The case may be stored flat on its bottom or on end. I would definitely recommend this storage case and I would buy again.

Sturdy Storage...
I got multiples of this item to store D Batteries for Holiday Candles between holidays to decrease them losing power. The items are sturdy, keep the batteries separated, and fit easily in my box used to store the candles keeping everything together.

That the batteries fit in the cases
The thickness is just right to hold the D cell batteries. The price is right considering it is hard to find cases for just one size battery.

It does what it says
The box holds D-size batteries, and the lid stays closed when needed. It's clear, so you can better tell when the alkaline batteries will eventually leak. Much better than storing the batteries inside a Maglite and having it ruined.

These boxes will not stay closed.
I purchased two of these boxes to store D cell batteries. The boxes do not close securely even when they are empty. However, when filled with D cell batteries, the boxes will not stay closed at all. Horrible quality...

So-so. About 3/4 of what I expected.
For the 8 "D cell" size --- Bought two. The lid on one fails almost completely. The other is 'ok' but definitely won't contain the batteries under any kind of moving condition (like in the trunk or a back pack.) Likes: 1) cheap 2) see through 3) takes up way less space than the default Duracell or other brand retail packaging. Dislikes: 1) not quite tall enough for the lid to properly close tightly if all 8 D-cells are loaded 2) of the two I bought, one barely latches at all 3) 50/50 chance of the batteries spilling out if you happen to pick the box up upside down. 4) 50/50 chance of the lid coming up while you are retrieving it from the drawer or cabinet, even if you grab it right side up.
