I purchased this light for writing at night inside of a vehicle with the lights turned off. And for that the E8R is outstanding. But now I have this thing on me at all times. It’s so versatile. You can use AAA 1.2v NiMH eneloop 750 Mah battery’s or you can use 10440’s (3.7v) if you want more brightness. Bring an couple extra battery’s and or a little power bank and you have light for weeks, or months even.I also wanted to say for all of the reviews with people complaining that the Blue light or UV light doesn’t work. You guys need to educate yourself on what you are buying. I looked at those reviews and they all had the E8R as what they purchased and that version has two red lights and one white light. In the body. It doesn’t have UV or Blue so that right there is the reason they don’t work for you LOL. It sucks that you have people giving this great light a bad review due to their own neglect to read into what they are buying and due to their own ignorance and it’s simply not cool. As for the people that say it doesn’t come with a USB C cable. That is because they don’t want to produce unneeded waste. I have at least 15 USB C cables laying around and I own an iPhone. (Yes I am aware they use USB C but it is USB C to Lightening for fast charging with Power Delivery.)With that out of the way this flashlight has far exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t have designed a more perfect light for myself and it’s tough as hell. It’s a great little light that has so many useful features.As I said I originally bought so I could have a bright writing, reading light that won’t hurt my night vision (red light) And I couldn’t be happier. It’s now my EDC and is in my pocket at all times along with extra battery’s.5/5 for sure. If you’re thinking about getting one, go for it. You will be happy you did.

I’ve had my light on my keys since I first bought it, it’s been used from home work and everything in between. I bought this light for the convenience of it being able to run on both its own charge and batteries.Recently I had the clip break off from it getting snagged. Huge shout out to Sam for asking me a few details about my flashlight and getting me a new one that very same week all while letting me keep my original one. Great warranty

The flashlight itself is a decent product but a bit overpriced for the quality. I tried to mount the flashlight to my hat and the clip bent. When I tried to bend the clip back it broke. It was less than a week old. It's a convenient flashlight for an everyday carry, but I wouldn't trust its durability.

I love this little flashlight. I’ve been using it as a reading light and got one for my gf who carries it on her keychain. It’s got a wide variety of features (low medium high and strobe on the main light, side reading light that can also be red and strobe red) and is well thought out, you just have to get used to the button combos. Also being able to stick a backup AAA is really cool to me. Great product

Fun gadget , very bright flashlight, the blacklight doesn't work to be evident of all substrates normally viewed In almost all blacklights I have ever seen in my life. And I have used the cheapest of blacklights. Therefore the blacklight did not perform the duties that all others do, for Thai outrageous cost of combining it with the led and size. This makes it a terrible product because it doesn't do what to says and at any price that's a bad sign!

This is what an EDC light should be. Takes some time to get used to the controls but its very versatile and seems very durable. Has replaced my much more expensive EDC lights. Get several not just one.

The red light will not work. Double click the 2nd button and the uv light comes on. Same if I triple click.
