Excellent desk riser
I was looking for a simple to use desk riser, with a large work surface, enough room for 2 monitors and this checks all my boxes. The setup was very simple - it is a little heavy so you might want help from someone else, but you can do it by yourself. Just put on your tabletop or desk, plug in and it's ready to go. I like that it's electric - easy to raise and lower. Very sturdy. This one has a very large work surface - more than enough room for 2 largish monitors and enough room left to be able to work as well. I like that the keyboard is below and is on a slide out. The USB port on the side is extremely helpful for charging my phone. I spend about half the day standing, the other half I lower and use it while sitting. The ONLY drawback, and it's not a big one, is that when fully in the down position, it is still several inches high which means you need a chair that will raise up to be able to work on the surface. Other than that - buy this one - you won't regret it.

Delivers Perfectly!
Purchased this for my day job and it has been amazing. I found that I was either leaning far back in my chair, or slumping over at my desk while working. It was wreaking havoc on my back.I purchased this because I didn't want to be limited to ONLY standing throughout the day. And it has delivered. First off, the set-up was extremely simple. You only have to attach two feet to help grip the desk. Everything else is assembled. This made me feel better that I am not risking putting something together incorrectly and would walk in to my computer and monitors all over the place one morning.I have this holding two monitors with plenty of room to spare. The desk easily switches from standing to sitting and vice versa. It does take a few times to get used to how to actually put the desk down. I was a bit nervous at the beginning that I was going to knock things over and couldn't quite get the desk to go to the sitting position. But after working through it a few times, it's now a breeze.I've been using this for a few weeks now, and am extremely pleased. It works as advertised. It's very well built. And my back has been feeling great. I've also had everyone in my office stop in and ask where I got this because they want to get it for their desk.Great product. Well worth the buy.

Good product... arrived a bit banged up
Love the product...unfortunately the edge was a tiny bit busted when it arrived. It was a big hassle for me to return the item, so I opted for a partial refund (15%) that was offered by Amazon. If not for the damage it would be a 5 star item. But I feel good about getting some money back.It feels sturdy and the up and down functionality is smooth. I can fit a 27" iMac and separate 25" monitor on it at angle . You can do some substantial leaning on the standing desk without it feeling unstable. The curve on the top board and keyboard tray are perfect if you have dangling lady parts LOL. AND the sliding tray isn't something you find on most of the standing desk converters and its very useful to have. I tend use the sliding keyboard tray when sitting, but switch my keyboard to the top when standing...just my personal preference.Other reviewers have mentioned this as well so I was prepared...Before placing this converter on your desk or work surface, you need to cover with bottom screws with felt or tape... the screw heads will scratch your surface.

You could spend lots more, but why? This thing is great!
I love this thing so much that I can't imagine the expensive brand is any better! After years of feeling stuck in my desk chair, I wanted a change. I've had this riser for 2 weeks and have only spent about an hour in my chair since. It's very sturdy and substantial, but not as heavy and unweildy as I expected. My husband carried it in and set it up for me by himself. I don't think he even had to do any assembly. It moves up and down very easily (I'm 49, 5'4") and the height is great for sitting or standing. I don't need to extend it all the way up, so I imagine it would be good for taller people as well. It's very solid and doesn't move at all when I type or even lean on it, so the wobbling issue that people mentioned with other brands is nonexistent with the Apex. Lowering it takes a little practice, but is very easy once you practice a bit. Raising it involves pulling the handles and desk top upward, while lowering it is more of of a releasing motion asa mentioned by another reviewer. I highly recommend this desk riser.

Now we're talking!
I'd purchased a gas spring riser that I had to return as I was pretty much raising the desk myself, further hurting my back. I've replaced it with this unit and I'm so happy I did!I selected this model because I wanted it to be white and the price was very reasonable in comparison with other electric desk converters. It is spacious! And sturdy. I have my two (old fashioned = ready 'heavy') 22-inch monitors on it and still have space for files and writing on its surface. No assembly required; truly 'plug and play'. The keyboard tray can be neatly tucked in underneath when not in use. The electric mechanism is fantastic! At the touch of a button the desk rises or lowers smoothly and effortlessly. And, as an extra bonus, it has a USB port!I can't stress enough... IT IS BIG. It fits exactly on my desk, leaving only about 15 inches of space on the left side of the desk. Still, if you have the space, you can't go wrong with this one.
