Coordinate Graphing: Creating Pictures Using Math Skills, Grades 5-8

This is a great resource!

It didn’t contain the graphing paper to make the drawings. For the high price, I think that should be included. I returned it before we tried it out.

The pictures are pretty basic, but they are at about the right level for my students. I like that they teach more skills than just coordinate graphing. Good resource.

Pretty disappointed. Says 5-8th but many of these concepts don’t start coming up till 7th grade. Great to challenge students but not good for my regular ed students.

This book has activities that require students to complete math skills (different skills - fractions, division of fractions, prob., etc.), then enter the answers into the coordinate blanks. When that is complete, students graph the coordinates. Great activity to reinforce math and graphs, and students enjoy doing the work! (Middle grades)

I like how the math skills are tied to the coordinates that allow the students to create the pictures. Nicely done.

I chose 5 stars for this purchase because it was exactly what it was advertised as, a valuable classroom asset, quick and easy to use. This book is a fun book not only for a math class, but great for a silent activity.
