After seeing a friend who had one of these 'talking' hamsters, I thought it wood be a good laugh for my grandchildren. Little did I know that everyone-adults and children would find it very funny and entertaining.Picks up sounds as well as voices. If closes enough copies songs from the radio and voices from the TV. Good quality for the cost. Would definitely recommend for a good laugh.

Bin leider sehr enttäuscht von dem Produkt.Teilweise nimmt der Hamster gesprochene Wörter nicht auf, oder gibt diese abgehackt wieder.Zudem ist der Ton sehr kreischend und laut, was es teilweise schwer macht wiederholtes zu verstehen.Auch die Qualität wirkt nicht so wie auf den Bildern angezeigt.Alles in allem, eher unzufrieden.

I wasn't sure when I set it up, but it gets better. Such a great little fellow, hilarious entertainment for our family and guests (from 4 years - 70 somethings.) I love to bring out something funny/silly and interactive at the right moments, this was perfect and no one could resist, a great shyness or stress buster. It repeats words, animal noises and (very) short phrases, even a fair try at songs when close to a portable speaker, it is not always accurate but it's movements and even its mix-ups become funny. It is after all a battery operated novelty, but seriously cute. Overall it is more than justified for just the two occasions I have used it for so far! I did wonder if my young grandchildren would be able to make it work but it responded particularly well to their voices. All ages had hilarious fun. Nice to see everyone joining in with such a simple and appealing gadget.

OK so it's not the greatest quality of a toy, the bottom has a zip lock tie or whatever on it, I managed to cover that with some material, an I did need to screw the screw fully in as it was sticking out, but overall it does what it says it does, mimics you providing it's short an jumps, I got this for my neice who's turning one an honestly I think all us adults got more a laugh out how daft the little thing is, it's more a novelty than anything else an honestly I've paid more for other noveltys than this one an I've had a better laugh with this than the others, but it is a get what you paid for thing, you can't expect to pay a tenner an get perfection
