Marti Michell Fusible Tape - 2-Inch Wide, 60 Yards, Single-Sided, White

I have used several different types of tape for joining batting and this one by far is the best. The fusible tape stays put once you have pressed it adequately and it allows me to make my batting as wide or long as I need it. I do use the tape on both sides of the batting ~ no bulk and very secure!

This extra wide tape is ideal for fusing pieces of batting together to make a bigger piece. I set my iron about halfway between cotton and polyester, and I test a little piece first. Pressing for about 10 second works best.

Great for joining smaller pieces of batting, not a problem to quilt through

I like this product. I've used other products like this before. This one is the best because it's wider than the others so it feels like it's going to hold the pieces of batting together. I ironed it on to attach the two pieces of batting and then moved it around to make sure it was going to hold. It did. The product works well. I'd buy it again---and probably will--just as soon as I use up the two rolls that I purchased the first time.

It works well to join batting pieces, but you definitely must cover it with spare fabric before you iron it on or it will stick to the iron.

Amazing product. I used this to join batting on a queen sized quilt ( using the quilt as you go method). No problems with my machine sewing through the tape. Will definitely use again.
