Great shoes, terrible laces
Pros: I really like these shoes. They they look great, are light, have a great barefoot ground feel, and our extremely breathable. The traction feels solid, as does the shoe.Cons: I'm really not sure what Vivobarefoot was thinking with these laces. The laces that come on the shoes are extremely thin, and ribbed. The ribbing prevents the laces from properly moving and makes it hard to get a comfortable, tight fit. The narrow diameter causes them to cut into my feet when tightened enough to make the shoe feel secure. I almost returned the shoes because of the laces. I ended up swapping the laces with a thicker no-tie elastic lace (see photo). It makes the shoes much more comfortable, and the elastic nature adjusts with movement so they don't cut into me.Also: I wish they had half sizes, because the pair I have are slightly longer than I would prefer but the next size down jams my toes.

Great shoes!
This shoes has nice quality, for me it’s very comfortable very breathable and I use it on daily basis. I see some comments that this shoes is thin, needs additional soles, very uncomfortable, etc… before you buy this shoes you should read the description and watch their video! I would not recommend using this in a rough terrain but for everyday walking and moderate exercise (jogging, running gym), I would recommend it!

Love them
Have been working on my messed up feet for awhile to wear something like this it is the most normal looking barefoot shoe i can wear with shorts during summer and for walks but you feel the road so we aware its a lifestyle in foot health so hit that bump or rock you might feel it a bit nothing dangerous but just be aware comfy also

I love it! The best!
I use them for the gym and love them! Best shoes to date, I use them for the gym and for walking the dogs! My favorite! I have 4 of these shoes. My favorite brand of shoes because they are the widest I have ever seen for the toe box.

Worth it!!
These shoes are just good.No arch support, wide toe box—not too tight not too loose. Great feel while wearing toes pacers as well!

They Hurt, injured my foot - updated
This is an update. After not being able to return the shoes (my own fault i missed the window) I started wearing them in situations where I wouldn't have to do much bending, and I started rolling them backwards and strapping it that way. After about a month they started to loosen up and feel better. Then I started to tighten the shoe but after pull on the bottom lace to loosen pressure on top of the foot. Now they are fine, not my favorite, but it's a shoe. Unfortunately they are the best to ride on my onewheel so I'll continue to wear them. Not looking forward to buying another pair and breaking them in but until I find something that gives weather and toe protection with minimal foot fatigue for my board, I'm stuck with these ~end editNo half sizes so your stuck with too big or too small. When the toe box is bent it creates a hard ridge which presses against the pinky toe, causing enough pressure to bruise. The shoe laces have no elasticity and become a tourniquet in the bent position. Not a good shoe

NICE SO FAR.
Wanting to transistion to the Zero-Lift/Drop style of footware, this particular shoe was mentioned several times in different reviews on the topic. I paid the extra price (North of $110) to give myself the best first experience.YEAHS:***FIT > Fits well. It did take 2 tries to get one that felt good. Fortunately, the one that did not work fit my wife great, so she is also trying the style of shoe.***FEEL > This shoe gives you a very good feel for the ground beneath you. I seem to be transisitioning rather quickly compared to what I expected and I really apperciate its feel around, and under, my foot. Company made it easier for me to determine my size based on my wider foot profile.***APPEARANCE > Not too bad for everyday and casual use. I personally would not use it for a more formal occassion. See this category also below under NEAs.NEAS:***GETTING IT ON > The tounge is not supported well in terms of staying where it should be while putting the shoe on. It keeps sliding down toward the toes, requiring me to pull it back up - and sometimes undo a "doubling over." Likewise, the back of the shoe is very succeptable to getting pushed down/doubled over as I step in (IF I am not using a shoe horn). While not a deal-breaker, I wish it went on as easy as my Witten brands (that I am also trying out).***DURABILITY > To yet be determined. More info as time goes on.***FLEXIBILITY > This is a very "slipper-like" feel and design. While it feels quite "flimsey" that is part of what makes this more of a minimalist type of Zero-Lift/Drop shoe.***APPEARANCE > While it does not scream out loud "Hey! I'm Different!" to the casual looker, a second look does show that it is not your typical looking shoe. That said, no one has called me out on its look after a month of use.

*Update* Poor build quality ×2
I'm not usually very worried about what my shoes look like, but the tip of this shoe started to wear within the first week. A $160 shoe should be built better. The bottoms of the shoes have gotten more comfortable over time, but the shoelace clasp is annoying and comes loose easily, and it can be very painful when you try to kneel and it stabs into the top of your foot. I should have just gotten the cheap ones.Update:The return window closed for this item a few weeks ago. So as you might expect they broke. One of the super thin shoelace loops towards the opening of one shoe gave out today. On the bright side, I was just starting to get used to them and was finding them to be quite comfortable.I'll be pursuing a refund, and I will update if I get one.Update 2:After contacting the seller directly (off of Amazon) I was able to get a replacement. It has been a couple months since then, and the new pair got worn out in the same way and then broke in the same way. I guess you're not supposed to wear them every day. They are just so you can look trendy or something. I really want to love these shoes, as they are comfortable once you get used to them.
