Dimmer switch for dimmable led lights.
Bathroom fan had an led light. I added this dimmer and it works with it, no problem. I like being able to dim with the switch rather then a small slide bar on the side of the on/off switch.

Not lighted
Big chunky back. Lucky I had no wires in the box other than the pair. It’ll take up entire single gain box. Dimmer works slides nicely smooth but expected and bought lighted. Mine does not light

Very large
I recently retired from the electrical supply business after 46 years and have sold many Pass &Seymour (P&S) switches and receptacles. P&S is a very respected and trusted brand in the industry but I was disappointed with the two dimmers I bought. I was replacing two similar P&S dimmers in a bathroom, one of which started to fail after about 20 years. They’re both the same age so I decided to replace both. The first problem is that the switch bodies are very large. They are about 25% larger than the old P&S dimmers I replaced. I installed them side-by-side in a standard 2-gang switch box and they almost completely fill the box. Fortunately I have wired houses before and know some tricks of the trade or I would never have been able to get them both in the box. There is practically no room left in the box for wiring.I had previously purchased a similar General Electric toggle dimmer for a different room and it was much smaller and I had no problem with the installation. I would have ordered the GE dimmers this time but didn’t see them listed on Amazon. The second problem with these dimmers is that, as has been mentioned in previous reviews, one operates along almost the entire travel of the switch while the other only works in the top 40% of the travel. It does dim the lights but is difficult to regulate the brightness with such a short switch throw.I would return it but I don’t want to go through the hassle of removing it and fighting to get a replacement installed. If you can find the GE dimmers, I recommend you buy them instead of the P&S.

Ok, like it's lighted but needs range adjustment
I bought Duracell LED flood lights first, then the switch. I guess some bulbs can work better than others. Leviton has a list of approved bulbs for their dimmer switches on their website. The Duracells worked fine but they were noticeably flickering at the lowest levels. This switch adjusts with just the toggle no other slide switch to adjust. It turns off all the way down and the light comes on and it takes half the travel up to start lighting up the bulbs. Most Levitons have a range adjuster which is nice.I have had lots of problems with switches that were installed with the wires that used the push in installation and I am glad this had screw terminals also.I would buy again but I have only had it installed for a month or so, I do not have a longevity report yet. I am pretty good at updating reviews if I have a problem. This model was $8 dollars cheaper than Leviton at the time of this review. I have another Leviton toggle switch installed at another location but it does not have a lighted base, I will be replacing it with a lighted base. I received a free knob Leviton dimmer and just installed it today at another location so I will be reviewing it eventually.

It does the job nicely -- and for LEDs too
I've never liked the "two-button" dimmer switches. They come in a number of configurations: slider on the side + switch; or rocker button + slider, etc. This means you have two separate controls to deal with. When you walk into a room, it's much easier to just flip the switch up, like you've been used to doing for decades, and then have the option to dim down when you really want to.This appears to be the only switch on Amazon designed with all that in mind. I read several reviews first, thinking it would probably be not so good for all the new LEDs I've installed. Wrong! It works great, and for about 1/4 the price of similar switches that include wi-fi and all that other nonsense.Others have noted that it "flickers" the lights while you're dimming LEDs. Well, it doesn't really "flicker" them. It's just not super-smooth like the $50 switches. If you can stand a bit (and just a bit) of unevenness, and only as you are dimming your LEDs up or down, and care more about them staying at the right level, flicker-free, then this is the switch for you.I put one on a circuit containing four LED recessed floods, all of which are very bright 100-watt equivalents. I can get exactly the light level I want, and they do turn off all the way with a subtle click when you flick the switch all the way down. Everyone in the house is happy, since some don't want all that bright light all the time. Now I can get very bright LEDs for any room, which is great for seeing and finding stuff, but without forcing bright lights all the time on everyone. I've ordered two more.Save your money and get the job done with these. Very easy to install, even with very (50+ years) old household wiring. And you can get them in lighted or unlighted, which just means whether or not it glows in the dark: lighted is maybe good for your shop or garage, but maybe not so good for a bedroom and the best sleep.I appreciate good, thoughtful design like this at a great price. So thank you, Pass & Seymour folks, for a great little product that lets me use smart tech like LEDs the way I want.

Quality Product
Exactly what I wanted, a toggle dimmer. It works well with my L.E.D fixture no buzzing or humming.

Does not seem to work with an array of LED potlights
Causes a strobing effect when 6 LED potlights are partially dimmed

Like a normal toggle switch
Replace the toggle switch with a stupid slider behind it.

Doesn’t work after one year.
The previous dimmer switch was in use for something like 25 years. This one in use for less than a year. Garbage. Just a cheap product and out the money.
