Tested by a certified olive oil sommelier
I did a tasting as a professional certified olive oil sommelier, educated in Spain, ESAO, University of Sevilla. Both the black label and the green label olive oil from Olive Oil Cartel are of very high quality. The green notes of the early harvest can be clearly tasted. These green tones prove that these olive oils contain lots of polyphenols. Both labels fit perfectly in a healthy diet and if you only want to eat good fat (your body needs good fat!) and honest food, these products offer very high nutritional value. I would like to recommend the olive oil from the Olive Oil Cartel to anyone who wants to take good care of their health. The flavors are rich and subtle at the same time. The olive oil combines the notes of green apple, almond and artichoke. Great for example to combine with fish, salads, toasted bread or to dip your freshly baked bread in. Try it on your vanilla ice cream! I love it! Enjoy!

Picholaine Marocaine
I was so amazed by the flavor. It smelled and tasted like fresh grass!!!. There was some initial bitternesss and then these wonderful flavors. It burned the throat a little at the end which ( I read) is supposed to if it's high in polyphenols.I've been buying for decades what I thought was 'first cold pressed ' from the supermarket, but this single source,, pressed within 8-hours olive oil is superior in flavor, quality and price.

I am a satisfied customer
I have been using the Italian EV olive oil from Costco regularly for cooking. This time I decided to try the Moroccan product. Here's what I noticed. This product has a bold flavor. I've tried it with Bread, toast and with Salads and I was pleased with the taste. With Bread, I prefer a milder flavor and was able to blend this product with another to get the desired result.Overall, I like this product and will purchase it again. One additional point to note - I have known the owner for many years and consider him to go out of the way to make sure his customers are satisfied.

Terrible bottle top
The Olive oil is top quality but the drizzler and the bottle cap are going to leave a mess all down the sides of the bottle and on your countertops every time you use it. In the middle if your cooking you'll forever being wiping off the bottle and your hands. When you forget and reach for it, don't be surprised when it slides away from your grip and the glass botyle shatters allover your floor and coats your cuoboards with olive oil as your dinner goes unattended and is ruined because you were busy cleaning glass shards away from your crawling toddler. Unless you first slip in the oil and break your neck. Any pricey product should come in a container that's better thought out. The top is alsi cheap and difficult to screw back on.

Good Quality
I bought this olive oil because I wanted to improve my digestion and health. I try to take a shot every evening before bed. The polyphenol content is supposed to be high and good for you.

Very disappointing
I bought this olive oil with high hopes of it being an even better quality than the olive oil I currently use which is Mina brand. I figured I'd just try another Moroccan sourced oil to see if maybe there's better. I saw this one and it got great reviews so I went for it. Sadly this oil was a major disappointment. First impression was "yuck, this smells awful 😖 ". The smell is strange and hard to put a finger on it but we will go with a pile of saw dust or wood chips. Second impression was, " man this pours out very easy and seems thin. It also looks pretty light." I decided to pour some of my Mina olive oil on the same plate to compare. It was definitely much lighter and thinner. See the pic, Cartel on the left and Mina on the right. Lastly I was reluctant to give a taste test but did. This tastes very thin, like maybe it is cut with vegetable oil. It does have a slight peppery tast but it doesn't have have the deep herbal, green almost grape like flavor in use to. I will be sticking to my other olive oil.

Pure High Quality EVOO!
The Moroccan people have come up Big time in the EVOO game. It is believed that the best EVOO comes from Italy or Greece/Spain & I beg to Differ(old way of thinking.)The peppery kick in the back of your throat sensation will give you a true indicator to a higher quality extra virgin olive oil and this brand "The Olive Oil Cartel" definitely has that peppery Kick to it= Good Polyphenol count at 500+. I am hesitant to give a 10 star review (deserves Infinity Stars) only because I don't want people going and buying up this Liquid Gold! I want the Olive Oil Cartel all for myself!!!

Goes down easy comes out easy
This olive oil has strong peppery taste, but barrable. Took a minute to get use to cause the other brand I had taken for years was so smooth. This is the real deal, I drink it in a shot glass 4-5 days a week. Before I eat my 1st meal I put 1-2 table spoon of this olive oil, a dash of cayenne pepper, squeeze of half a lemon, and a drizzle of honey...my food digest easier and I poop later that day or by the following morning!
