I purchased these for work with the kiddos and they are perfect! They are a nice size, are very sturdy, provide lots of space for holding colors and mixing colors.

I purchased these to use for face painting, then found myself in need of a food-safe painting palette. This palette is made of number 5 polypropylene, and my research indicates this is one of the food-safe plastics. I will use new palettes for painting cookies with my kids. They also feel quite ergonomic in my left hand. I particularly like how the asymmetrical shape of the palette makes it easy to keep track of which colors are where. It is also feels much more sturdy and stable than the circular plastic palettes.
