This is a very nice belt, well-made of alloy metals and hard acrylic. It features eleven 1.7 inch red/orange faceted acrylic discs on gold metal backings linked to a sturdy gold chain. Three other discs are included, as well as a smaller, diamond-shaped acrylic piece.The chain's clasp is strong and easy to use, making the belt adjustable to your preferences. The belt has a little weight to it, naturally, so it stays in place well and feels comfortable to wear.(The metal parts and chain look quite pale, even occasionally silver, in the item listing pictures, but it is actually quite a rich gold).As to Raven, there is absolutely no indication that this is a licensed DC Comics product, and it is packaged simply (but securely) in quite a lot of bubble-wrap and a resealable bag.In terms of accuracy to the character's belt, there is no definitive answer for, as with most such characters, Raven's precise look has altered somewhat over the years and indeed, just in the artwork of different artists. The discs on her belt have altered, sometimes dramatically, in size, number and in how closely together they are arranged. But, to my mind, this belt does a good imitation of Raven's 'typical' belt. (She has also worn her belt straight round her waist and sometimes slanted high on one hip and low on the other. I've tested and you can wear this belt either way). The colours, especially when the facets catch the light and give a fiery sort of effect, are accurate to the vast majority of Raven artwork.For care and maintenance of the belt, it largely shouldn't need any, but bear in mind that hard acrylic gems like these, whilst in no way delicate, can get scuffed and scratched over time which can dull them. So the belt should be stored carefully, ideally in something with soft, wholly non-abrasive inner fabric surfaces. I've found a suitably-sized, velvety-feel drawstring bag that does the job nicely. Just be sure to keep the acrylic discs facing apart, not toward each other, when stored.All in all, a very attractive belt, good with all sorts of outfits, and an excellent choice for anyone contemplating Raven cosplay activities.
